Somewhat concerning in my opinion but the caveat that this is a poll of “registered voters” is something to consider.

The sampling error isn’t greater than 7% but for most demographics hovers around 4% (rounded).

It was a poll of both landlines and cellphones, roughly equally represented.

For me the most concerning (given the caveat above) is that Independents seem to be breaking for Jones. Also, perhaps most shockingly, of those asked “do you trust or mistrust the government more?” Those who answered “mistrust more” support Jones! Those who support Moore answered “trust the government more”! What’s up with that?

That particular response leads me to believe Moore’s support may be softer than Jones’. There are other analyses that give me pause in the report linked.

Thoughts? Additional analyses?

I think we should be doubling down support for Moore. You can donate to his cause here: https://www.roymoore.org/Support-Judge-Moore/ if you haven’t done so already or wish to do so again. If you live in Alabama, I’d consider donating some volunteer time.

Don’t take this for granted just because Alabama is an historically red state! Take nothing for granted in this war against leftism!

Don’t trust polls.

But.

Work as hard as you can. The LAST thing we need is for the Turtle to be smirking at us.

Remember Fox is part of the deep state and their polls tend to be wish lists.

I was afraid of this - why people backed Moore over Mo Brooks is beyond me. Brooks would have been a much more substantive candidate. Moore I’ve always perceived as a showboat.

However, I still think he is going to win - this is a case of needing the Republicans to “come home” to a candidate they don’t really like simply because they don’t want a Democrat in office. The Democrat likely has a ceiling of 46% in this race that ultimately cannot be overcome unless Republicans simply don’t show up at the polls.

Remember, Roy Moore was twice removed from the Chief Justice post for violations of Judicial Code. This is not lost on the people of Alabama.

He is a zealot that puts his God’s law ahead of man’s law in all cases.

Which makes him a good man, unfit for Federal office.

And I believe the people of Alabama, if they elect him, will elect him by the slimmest of margins.

I’ll hold off on accepting this poll.

I haven’t seen anything to cause Moore a loss of support, and he was supposedly up ten points a couple of weeks back.

The entire liberal establishment is out to stop Moore.

And that includes GOPe.

It’s as if we learned nothing about fake polls from the last election. Your analysis is pointless if someone made up the data.

The Washington DC RINOs spent many millions in the primary & runoff AGAINST REPUBLICANS. Let’s see how many millions they’re willing to spend in support of the selected Republican against a ‘RAT in the general election. Any guesses?

Mitch? Paging Turtleman. Pick up the red courtesy phone, Mitch.

I’ll believe in the Easter bunny before Fox News polling.

Yes, they’re that bad and have been for years.

The Swamp and Leftwing Media hate Moore even than Trump.

A real poll would be of likely voters.

A special election on December 12 is in the middle of Christmas shopping season, and it’s not a regular polling day. Only the dedicated are going to show up.

Moore has a very good chance to win this, but it will not be effortless. I imagine that GOPe is not too excited about him winning and would just as much rather have a Dem.

Turnout is the key.

Don’t let the polls discourage you. Even if Moore’s support is “soft” in percentages, these polls can not really tell how many people are broken-glass supporters. There are many Moore supporters who will show up if there is a blizzard and a nuclear war that day.

Utter, total garbage.

Moore by 10-12. Richard Baris of PPD polling-—the most accurate in 16, called this poll ridiculous.

Looks like a perfectly reasonable registered voter poll result.
Doubt that it’s very predictive though unless Moore is one terrible campaigner.

Registered, not likely voters (which they use in their NJ poll showing the socialist ‘rat 14 points ahead of the Republican in the gubernatorial race) - there are so many ways to lie......

In the article, there is a link to the full poll results

801 registered voters.

Political Identification
Rats = 37%
Repubs = 47%

Are the results possible with that party breakdown ? or are people telling fibs ?
after 2016 do we car about polls ?

Ridiculous polling

Trump won 65 % in a 35% black state with over 90% estimated white vote for Trump

The networks don’t do exit polls in solid gop states anymore for same reason IMDb quit its forum

No free ammo for our side

Moore wins slam dunk

Moore is a very controversial figure in Alabama, even among conservatives. I was against his getting the nomination because of his record demonstrating a serious lack of respect for the rule of law. And also because he may not be a shoo-in in the general election. I don’t know much about the RAT candidate but if he is not a complete moonbat there are going to be conservatives who will hold their nose and vote for the man.

Once again I fear we may have forgotten Reagan’s rule that you nominate the most conservative candidate who is likely to win.

Trump emphatically said, if Luther Strange didn’t win, the Democrat would win. Trump and McConnell will do everything to make sure Moore loses.
