I agree. The one video I watched/listened to sounded like one weapon with break between reloading. Very slow automatic fire.
If other hotels are getting threats, it sounds like part of a coordinated attack. Terrorists could call other places and with a threat to cause extra chaos.

Agreed. And fully automatic weapons can have an effective shooting range of at least 600 yards or even more depending on the weapon so the terrorist doesn’t have to be close.

Heard radio chatter suspect address connected to Babbling brook court, Mesquite, NV. The number address was garbled.
See my immediately prior post. Giant cap drums are idiot magnets because most of them will jam and become useless. The length of bursts plus the reload delay plus the consistency of bursts spelt ‘belt-fed’ to me.
One report is a hispanic woman (with a man) told people 30 minutes before the shooting they were about to die.
But ISIS mentioned the Strip in their online magazine back in May.

Whatever room it was, it's possible the shooter did not rent it in their own name. Or rent a room at all. Just -- take one (from somebody, some guest-- could be anyone).

Not sure if that’s a victim or the perp.
There are no other towers off of which echos can happen. Luxor is the closest tower, but it is a pyramid, so sounds wouldn’t echo very cleanly from it towards the concert location. The other tower is west of Mandalay, away from both the shooter’s location and the concert location, so echos would not bounce off of that other tower.

It was a large caliber gun firing @ 12 rounds/second. Counted 40 triplets over 10 seconds.
