Mueller Seeks White House Documents Related to Trump’s Actions as President
The New York Times ^ | September 20, 2017 | Michael S. Schmidt

Posted on 09/20/2017 12:00:34 PM PDT by Alter Kaker

WASHINGTON — Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, has asked the White House for documents about some of President Trump’s most scrutinized actions since taking office, including the firing of his national security adviser and F.B.I. director, according to White House officials.

Mr. Mueller is also interested in an Oval Office meeting Mr. Trump had with Russian officials in which he said the dismissal of the F.B.I. director had relieved “great pressure” on him.

The document requests provide the most details to date about the breadth of Mr. Mueller’s investigation, and show that several aspects of his inquiry are focused squarely on Mr. Trump’s behavior in the White House.

In recent weeks, Mr. Mueller’s office sent a document to the White House that detailed 13 different areas that investigators want more information about. Since then, administration lawyers have been scouring White House emails and asking officials whether they have other documents or notes that may pertain to Mr. Mueller’s requests.

One of the requests is about a meeting Mr. Trump had in May with Russian officials in the Oval Office the day after James B. Comey, the F.B. I director, was fired. That day, Mr. Trump met with the Russian foreign minister, Sergey V. Lavrov, and the Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergey I. Kislyak, along with other Russian officials. The New York Times reported that in the meeting Mr. Trump said that firing Mr. Comey relieved “great pressure” on him.

These idiots can’t do the same thing that the State Department and White House and DOJ and FBI did during the obozo years...refuse to furnish squat!!!! They sure haven’t learned much in 8 months - you do not cooperate with scoundrels...You don’t break your neck searching for documents at their request. Go pound sand!

“”I wonder what would happen if Trump deleted the e-mails that Mueller is requesting?””

It’s what he should do - exactly what Nixon didn’t do with the tapes.....destroy everything! See how they like the game played on them.

Don't expect our "humble, man of integrity" Jeff the Backstabber to do anything.

Who? Me?

You brought up Barry Goldwater to me in Freepmail. I told you he wasn’t a real conservative. I documented for you that Goldwater even back then supported gays serving in the military. Trump is making a sincere effort to do what is right. Mueller has no basis for a case against Trump and should close his case. If not soon, Trump must fire him. You need to agree to that premise because you know it is correct.

Do any of these agencies publically deny that they answer to Trump? No. They are 100% impotent when it comes to that. So if individual agents or bureaucrats or small groups of them have an anti-Trump or anti-America agenda, they have to sneak around behind the scenes like cowards trying to perpetrate their little subversive agenda.

Same with Mueller. The only statements he can make to the American people must be crafted to reflect a false authenticity and a false professionalism. Meanwhile pretending to pursue justice while in reality pursuing a corrupt political agenda. Sneaking around, hidden behind closed doors, pretending. Powerless before the American people.

Is the reason Trump has not fired mueller and sessions because he doesn’t want to make more waves on this subject?

Is the reason Trump has not gotten ALL.. or even MOST of left over swamp dwellers fired/removed/gone because he can’t or would rather keep them around and avoid the fall out?

Why... why.. has sessions not been directed to go after the snakes in the grass who are guilty of crimes and everyone knows it?

One more why... why isn’t all of obama’s sins and illegalities brought up to remind any and all Trump haters who like to find everything they can on Trump. Obama was/is the epitome of all and everything wrong, hatefilled, anti American, race dividing, condescending, and he has no boundaries on how low and deep he’d go to get what he wants.

true but the people would lynch them for taking their election away from them . We have a democratic form of government not an oligarchy.

Fire him. Then fire Sessions. While you’re at it, fire McMaster.

DJT can’t fire Beauregard when the next man up in Justice is Rod Rosenstein, who, believe it or not, is even worse than Sessions. This scenario builds in the reality that McConnell wouldn’t lift a finger to help President Trump with a new Justice nominee if he did indeed relieved Swampy Sessions of duty. I don’t say this with any joy but it’s clear DJTs AG is totally inept.

Nothing precludes Trump from firing both of them.

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but one of the things I've learned over the years is that one should never judge someone's job performance when the only information you have about them is what you read and hear about them -- often in media outlets that have zero credibility anyway.

Can this wait that long?

Reconsidering that prediction... In light of all the news today, Meuller, and possibly Rosenstein have a very good chance of being fired before the end of this year.

At this point, I’d say “He has nothing. He is fishing. Shoot him. Between the eyes.”

We have a democratic form of government not an oligarchy.

So I've been told. But just look at the way the Speaker and Senate leaders are chosen. Look at the way candidates from both parties are chosen. The veil of a "democratic form" starts to wear a little thin.

What an enormous waste of our taxpayers money.

There’s nothing there. How much longer will this farce go on?

Mueller is toast. Time to show him the door without opening it.

What a piece of crap. Now his Democrat Party political ideology is getting exposed for all to see and those who thought he was non-partisan are being to understand what the word “dupe” means.

Time to arrest Comey, fire Mueller and all his team of Democrat Party donors (i.e. Obama and Hillary supporters), and close down the investigation as a waste of taxpayers’ money and as totally non-productive.

Let the Democrats scream and piss in their pants. Elections are coming up next year and the American people will not forget their corruption and treasonous acts (Iran, Cuba, uranium ore to Russia, No. Korea, failing to destroy the Taliban, ISIS (JV no more buddy), and the illegal immigrants and crime/drugs.

Also, time to get DOJ off their asses and to take down crooked Hillary and her whole damned “Payola” scheme known as the Clinton Foundation.

Susan Rice belongs in jail. Period. Hillary to follow, and all who covered up for her over the email scandals and fundraising corruption.

Not only is it time to “drain the swamp”, but to do it southern style, with dynamite (indictments/convictions/jail).

The Democrats never met a “swamp of corruption” that they didn’t like to swim in. Time to put some leeches on their asses and drive them out of the water.

Can you imagine the outrage if 0vomit had been under investigation starting before the 2008 election and continuing throughout his occupation of the WH?
