I have to say I was really shocked to see a lot of leftists come out against antifa (though of course not all-- Elizabeth Edwards). I'm shocked because the left always embraces and protects its extremists, no matter what they do (for example black lives matter thugs). This is the only time I have seen them do this, so what's the deal?

But if they'd had any sense, they could have looked past the ends of their noses to the ELECTION RESULTS and seen that the bulk of the country wasn't backing their agenda. What did they think was going to happen when they doubled-down on hating Trump?
Essentially, they stepped up to take more of the same loss they took at the polls.
It is the most disappointing thing I have seen in a long time. I wanted them to double- and triple-down on AntiFA, BLM, impeaching Trump....But they wised up.
I suspect George Soros has perceived that publicly supporting AuntieFaye is stirring up the Reaction and is counterproductive to his goals. That doesn’t mean he will stop funding them. AF is established now and does not have to have public support of the libs to continue to tear down the nation. They can “distance” themselves from it now. It will do fine on its own.
Hedging their bets so that when it all goes down they have deniability.

My answer: The Left has BETTER POLLSTERS than the Republicans...and the reason for that is because Republican pollsters are told what the results of their polling will be (by the GOPe), BEFORE they even do the polling.
For the 2016 campaign cycle, the GOPe had their pollsters convince EVERY REPUBLICAN running for President that being for strong border security and against illegal immigration was lethal, and would doom them with the hugely growing Hispanic population (hugely growing, of course, due to lax border security and uncontrolled illegal immigration).
Well, they did convince everyone at the time (early 2015)...but a bit later, one final Republican joined the race, and he certainly wasn’t in any mood to be ‘convinced’ of anything by such a pathetic bunch.
I suspect the Democrats, instead, simply use their pollsters to find out what their voters want.

The democraps knew that their support for Auntie Fa was going to bite them in the a$$ big time in the near future, so they are cutting their losses now.

Since it is a criminal offense to wear a mask to events like the ones where they have taken over with their violence in many states.
In spite of the legal reality not to wear masks to these events, as known criminals, they opt to wear their masks to mask/hide exposing the police files on them.
Or they are liberal professors at a local liberal university, and they don’t want to lose that gig/pay check.

I was also under the impression that it was against the law to deliberately hide your identity in such a manner. If that is indeed the case it says a lot about law enforcement doesn’t it? These people show up illegally wearing masks and carrying baseball bats, which is also against the law in some of these liberal cities. And yet the cops stand there and watch them.
The police should be held accountable for their BS excuse of just following orders.
