Recommendation? Need a Really Comfortable Travel Car, Think Sofa, With Wheels.
Recent car history Mazda MPV 1998 back when it was a great vehicle Xterra Golf TDi Jeep Sahara Unlimited
Now I need a travelin' car. I would keep the Jeep but it is too noisy.
Stopped in at a Volvo dealership and tried a s60, too stiff a ride for long trips and not comfortable seats.
Any recommendations for a really comfortable car? Just for me and perhaps one other passenger and our luggage?
I am thinking of a 2015 or 2016. All wheel drive would be nice. A little retro would be fine too.
Any ideas?

I second the motion for Subaru Outback. Where I live in CO I assume every Subaru I encounter is occupied by a leftist ahole. So far I'm battin' 1000.

There was your ex-wife story. At least I thought it was a Suburu. Maybe it was something else. ;)

Oh, that.
I do try not to think of her.
Anyway, after the divorce the ex used her alimony and child support to buy herself a brand new Subaru Forester.
My first words to her was something like, ‘Wow! Nice car! I had no idea you were a lesbian...’
That story?

A friend has a highly optioned Kia Optima. It’s very comfortable and easily gets well over 30mpg.
