CNN host Don Lemon said President Donald Trump is "clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country" after his speech to supporters in Phoenix, Arizona, on Tuesday night, also pondering whether the president had dementia.
"He has given oxygen to racists," Lemon said. "He hasn't really said anything [to] denounce the alt-right … He is clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country. He has not tamped down race."
In what CNN described in its chyron as an "angry, divisive speech," Trump lit into the media and also defended his criticized response to the white supremacist violence in Charlottesville, omitting in his remarks to the crowd that he once said "both sides" carried blame for violence there.
Lemon said if Trump worked in his newsroom and said those things, he would be fired. Lemon then read out a tweet by CNN commentator Ana Navarro that the only "defensible explanation" for Trump's behavior would be early-onset dementia.
If you listen to people like Lemon- Juan Williams, for example...You’ll hear them say how this or that “doesn’t make any sense” and that they “don’t understand”, etc. There’s a reason for that and it’s very simple!
I enjoyed yelling "CNN sucks" with the rest of the crowd by the way. Somehow I don't think that is going to be mentioned.
On top of that, since he is a “preferred minority” (on two fronts) there is no reason he has his position through merit.
I’m surprised his wiki bio hasn’t been scrubbed; it refers to sexual abuse during his childhood, which I’m convinced is the leading cause of homosexuality. They aren’t “born that way”, but twisted into it...
Projection has become their main tool. And Lemon is an expert.

Lemon is falling back on something the Soviets pioneered a century ago: If you didn’t love everything about the workers’ paradise they created, you must be insane. It was a great way to silence dissenters, and permanently remove those that persisted. We’ve seen this playbook before - those of us that bother to read/study these things.
