President Donald Trump warns that threats from North Korea "will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen." North Korea has successfully created a miniaturized nuclear weapon that can fit in its missiles, according to NBC News and The Washington Post.
President Donald Trump on Tuesday warned North Korea about facing "fire and fury" if the isolated nation makes more threats to the United States.
"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. He has been very threatening ... and I said they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before," Trump told reporters during what he calls a "working vacation" at his New Jersey golf club.
His comments came hours after revelations Pyongyang has successfully created a miniaturized nuclear weapon designed to fit inside its missiles. While miniaturizing marks a major step in North Korea's nuclear ambitions, it does not necessarily mean the country has an accurate nuclear-equipped intercontinental ballistic missile, yet.
The development raises the stakes for Trump and other world leaders, who already faced difficult and limited options in dealing with North Korea's aggression. Trump has tried to leverage China, Pyongyang's only major ally, to get North Korea to change its behavior, but he has lamented a lack of success with Beijing.
The U.N. Security Council on Saturday unanimously put new sanctions on North Korea over its continued missile tests. The country has tested two intercontinental ballistic missiles that landed off the coast of Japan this year. Some analysis has said one of those missiles could potentially reach the mainland United States.
National security advisor H.R. McMaster recently said Trump is "not going to tolerate North Korea being able to threaten the United States."
Pyongyang has repeatedly vowed retribution against the U.S. following sanctions or other measures meant to deter its nuclear and missile programs.
After the U.N. imposed the newest sanctions, North Korea said it would bring "thousands-fold" revenge against the U.S.

As the heat ratchets up it is important to remember who will pay the price for any war. Yes I loathe the leader of N Korea and what he’s done to the place. The brainwashed prison camp country he runs though is filled with human beings with beating hearts. Just look through these photos and see if you don’t feel for them. I just about choked up looking at this. Those poor children who did nothing wrong. Their only “mistake” was by being born in this nation. They just want what every other child wants. They want to ride the roller coaster and get an ice cream and a balloon.

CNN is for and against war at the same time.
“As the heat ratchets up it is important to remember who will pay the price for any war. Yes I loathe the leader of N Korea and what hes done to the place. The brainwashed prison camp country he runs though is filled with human beings with beating hearts.”
And those beating hearts have been brainwashed for generations to revere their leaders. We can’t underestimate their will to fight—remember the Iraqi population? We thought they would welcome us as liberators too.
So I wonder how much of that money we gave to Iran has made its way to N Korea? They are partners in this threat.
In my many years in inner Chicago, to tell people you’ll shoot them between the eyes and mean it means that you have done it already and the police are looking for you. Hundreds of people will test you to see how far they can push you before you do it.
For 99.9% of people who talk big, they do not follow thru... they are like Obama. the 0.1% who enforce their red line become the notorious crime rate in Chicago.
The Mid-East, N. Korea don’t seem much different from inner city Chicago. My life has been saved twice by people who practiced concealed carry and then pulled out their Saturday night special to scare away my attacker. They never boasted about their concealed carry. It was a secret from everyone. When they pulled it out, they did not say anything. The time for talk had ended.
A bluff will almost always be tested until it is proven to either be a bluff, or not.
There are not any new cutting edge weapons. Obama made sure of that. Missile defense systems could be extremely advanced and deployable - Obama cut development to a trickle. BTW Stealth was common knowledge long before DS1 to those who closely observe the military.

L’l Kim.....we are coming for you....you don’t know where, when or how.....we are a comin’ !
Kim’s days are numbered.
Nap of the earth cruise missile....right into Li’l Kim’s teddy bear room? And if the artillery then starts from the NORKs.....they will be flash blinded en masse.
Kim won’t be ronery now.
Agreed.
Slight linguistic adjustment:
“Damnee ju TLUMP !”
LOL
It was the Carter administration which developed rapid digital relays of satellite photos. A major milestone electronic espionage.
Who would have guessed that?
Of course, Nixon and JFK had helped lead up to such a development. And of course Ike had let the way with his spy plane — I think it was called the ‘U2’.
So despite Obama we have reason to hope.
Don’t want to sound petty for thinking about the stock market and money, but can you imagine what a 10,000 point drop on the Dow over the several days immediately following a nuclear war with NK would do to our economy?
Electing Trump as a nationalist/neo-isolationist and then having him establish an American Empire sounds about right....
There are something like 4 million South Koreans (as well as 75K US troops in range of North Korean artillery).
Any kind of shooting war there is going to be utterly tragic.
Actually, that’s a significant impact of all this and one with huge real-world ramifications.
There will be no war on the Korean Peninsula.
Any attack by us, short of a devastating first nuclear strike would actually cause a war. The North will fire at Japan and South Korea and invade South Korea with conventional forces.
We cannot nuke them without the permission of Russia, China, Japan or South Korea - in so much as they agree to stand by and watch. They’re the ones that will get the fallout. Literally and figuratively.
This is fat boys greatest leverage. We will buy them off as we always do. Because they’re building a deterrent not an offensive capability. They know they can never win a war against us, so they just want to deter us from a conflagration that will cost lives and money and bribe us for food. That’s the bottom line. OR.........
Fatboy is literally insane and actually thinks he can win.
Nuke N Korea . Turn it in glass then Mecca and the entire Middle East.
This is not sarcasm nor ridicule we all here know this has to be done .Islam is a threat
N Korea has been threatening to nuke the USA. What would you do democrat, hide under your bed?
The above link is Donald Trump/Tim Russert re Korea in 1999.
Tonight on Hannity’s nk discussion they showed footage of a smiling Kim on a balcony waving to an adoring crowd, all clapping wildly, arms over their heads. Chilling and heartbreaking.
Just read about them on Twitter. Fascinating.
