Attorney General Jeff Sessions will reportedly make an announcement about several criminal leak investigations within days.
Officials told The Washington Post about the forthcoming news from the Justice Department. The investigations will be centered around news reports containing sensitive material about intelligence, the report said

You still don’t get it.
Sessions is now ‘media-proof’- because the media is fanatically for anyone, or anything, Trump is against.
And even ‘Democrat-proof’- because the Dems are fanatically for anyone, or thing, Trump is against.
And that result was obviously going to occur.
So I think it was deliberate.
‘Recusal’ would not have been on anyone’s minds back in November, so I don’t give credence to that meme. Yet the SC appointment was a hard blow to Trump.
I don’t have any inside info.
Heck, Trump could just be publically pushing a good subordinate to do even more. That’s a common method of CEOs.
The Trump way through the maze.
.... Exactly what I was thinking. Trump knows that if Sessions were to .... "Step Down" .... He would then need to be replaced ... which of course .... the Dems and "Never Trumpers" would try to facilitate the installation of someone of "Their" choosing that would be easier controlled from within the Swamp.
Hell yeah!
It’s going to take a lot more winning to kick the progressives back to the early 1900s
Just more leaks about prosecution of leaks. :-)
Another Freeper has suggested that this relates to the arrest today of the Pakistani IT guy who had been working for the DNC, and that the timeline may have been pushed up a day because he was caught at Dulles Airport trying to flee the country.
Maybe not - looks like they’ve already made it to their Great Depression.
;-)
Positing a possibility for consideration:
Trump and Sessions seem to be on the outs and fighting, speculation is rampant that Sessions will resign or be fired, so Sessions calls a press conference and everyone in the media thinks that’s what it’s about. Coverage is massive. Sessions comes out and makes a few introductory comments and then reveals that the real reason for the press conference is the filing of numerous felony charges against the leakers and multiple members of the previous administration that conspired and colluded to harm President Trump and the functioning of the current administration. Arrests being carried out simultaneous with the press conference.
Thoughts?
Who leaked this news about the leak investigations?
Just like the DNC computer guy who was arrested today. Once they turn him, the Dems house of cards isn't going to fall, its going to blow up huge like a hurricane hit it.
I’m positive now this Trump/Sessions thing is an all time head fake.
Trump wanted everyone to think Sessions wasn’t doing anything while Sessions was doing everything.
Points:
Trump changed drain the swamp to drain the sewer.
Trump went to NY Times to spread the Sessions cover story.
Trump keeps everyone occupied while Sessions digs up the Deep State dirt.
Trump gets everyone to sympathize and support Sessions so when Sessions drops the hammer no one claims Sessions is a shill.
Absolutely amazing stunning brilliant. And ballsy.
I hope so.
Until persons are charged it’s all talk.
Butt hurt over the President’s candor about Sessions’ wimping out.
“Trump and Sessions have played the media like Brer Rabbit played Brer Wolf.”
I’ve been thinking the same thing. makes no sense for trump to attack Sessions, so I figured there was a good chance trump was simply F-ing with the enemedia.
And if it’s true that sessions is going to announce various anti-Dem investigations, then it DOES make sense for trump to pretend like sessions is “rogue”.
2 things:
1. So there is a leak to the press about a leak investigation.
2. I thought Sessions wasn’t doing anything.
That should be Brer Fox not Brer Wolf.
