Sessions is now ‘media-proof’- because the media is fanatically for anyone, or anything, Trump is against.
And even ‘Democrat-proof’- because the Dems are fanatically for anyone, or thing, Trump is against.
And that result was obviously going to occur.
So I think it was deliberate.
‘Recusal’ would not have been on anyone’s minds back in November, so I don’t give credence to that meme. Yet the SC appointment was a hard blow to Trump.
I don’t have any inside info.
Heck, Trump could just be publically pushing a good subordinate to do even more. That’s a common method of CEOs.
Positing a possibility for consideration:
Trump and Sessions seem to be on the outs and fighting, speculation is rampant that Sessions will resign or be fired, so Sessions calls a press conference and everyone in the media thinks that’s what it’s about. Coverage is massive. Sessions comes out and makes a few introductory comments and then reveals that the real reason for the press conference is the filing of numerous felony charges against the leakers and multiple members of the previous administration that conspired and colluded to harm President Trump and the functioning of the current administration. Arrests being carried out simultaneous with the press conference.
Thoughts?
