Someone tell me what kind of "loyal supporter" Attorney General wakes up one day and recuses himself from the most high profile witch hunt in history - without even the courtesy of a SIMPLE PHONE CALL. I didn't know "Loyal Supporters" ™ made a practice of surprising their bosses in such a way.

We have seen nothing good from Sessions or his office in 6 months. At his best he's been hapless, worst he's been highly disloyal. The only thing we know for sure is that he's going after pot-smokers.
If the president doesn't have faith in him, he should leave. Soon.
I agree with a lot of your posts usually but I cannot say Sessions is a loyal supporter by not doing a thing about all this corruption. Bring up charges on someone. Anyone... Huma... Carlos Danger? John Podesta? Hillary.. Susan Rice, Lorretta Lynch, Valerie Jarrett, COMEY??? No one? To me this guy is purposely sabotaging Trump with the “What me worry” church mouse responses. I never liked him as a pick for AG and like him even less now.
This is a puzzler..but remember that investigations are not suppose to be public. We dont know what he is doing. Also ..trump signaled early on he didnt want an investigation. Said she suffered enough.

Both sides and the media are are out for Trumps blood, from day 1, and Sessions does nothing. His job is also to stop prosecutor misconduct, which is what this is. Someone from Trumps campaign testifierd last week, and he said they wouldnt accept no for an answer...that it was def a fishing expedition..i cant believe some here cant see whats going on....This is what happens when a outsider wins....

We are literally in a goddamn war and Commanders simply cant let their friendship or admiration for ineffectual subordinates who mess in their shit kits get in the way of victory. If Davey winds up in the minority if/when Trump fires Sessions, he will not be lonely. I think a large number of Trump’s cabinet will be there, much of his base, and all of the soon to be unemployed pubbie congresscritters (and me.) Trump is gaining on that pooch!

My only point was the order of events. He can fire first and pick replacement later. He did that with Comey.
The risk of picking a wet blanket for replacement is the same either way.
