WASHINGTON Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, resigned on Friday morning, telling President Trump he vehemently disagreed with the appointment of the New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.

Meanwhile Scaramucci has accepted the job offer.

this ain’t good
If the source is accurate as to Spicer’s reasons then it’s more likely that HE wanted or expected the job and might be upset about it.
And Melissa McCarthy just lost her gig on “Saturday Night Live”.
That’s very interesting. It is as if “business as usual”.
For me, it's too early to tell. Spicer is entitled to his opinion that this is a mistake, and hats off to him for being candid with Trump. He's leaving on good terms, from what I can tell. Trump asked him to stay on, and he decided to leave. Freedom is a wonderful thing.
Way to much turmoil in this administration, this has been a horrible week for Trump. Blasting Sessions was really stupid and now this.
And Melissa McCarthy just lost her gig on Saturday Night Live.
That’s my thought.
I would have been afraid to hire someone named “Scaramucci”

LOL....best part about this ;-)
The most disappointing about this news will be the absence of the @sean_spicier twitter parody account.
I thought Sarah Huckabee Sanders shoulda had the job.
He's been the acting communications director, so it would be unusual if he wasn't upset about not keeping the gig he'd been holding down.
I wish him well. He might do similar to Lewandowski, who was fired and then went on to defend Trump's campaign and later Trump as POTUS. Plenty of doors open for Spicer, I'm sure.
I don't imagine this affects Trump at all, on any level.
Will he do the fandango?
It’s not catastrophic, I just wasn’t encouraged by the spattiness that seemed to come with the report.
I am WAY up for a Friday Afternoon Massacre, as long as it’s not people I admire in the admin.... ;)
Sessions was a cowardly twit for his recusal. That one gave the whole Russia BS narrative its legs.
Worse, pissing off the libertarians who supported Trump, the old fart decided to go after medical marijuana. THAT was a “stupid” move.
“according to person with direct knowledge of the exchange.”
