Meanwhile Scaramucci has accepted the job offer.

this ain’t good
If the source is accurate as to Spicer’s reasons then it’s more likely that HE wanted or expected the job and might be upset about it.
And Melissa McCarthy just lost her gig on “Saturday Night Live”.
Way to much turmoil in this administration, this has been a horrible week for Trump. Blasting Sessions was really stupid and now this.
I would have been afraid to hire someone named “Scaramucci”
“according to person with direct knowledge of the exchange.”
He hired someone named “Scaramucci” as Communications Director?
Why do I picture him calling CNN head honchos into his office, and telling them “See, The boss, he don’t like what youse guys have been saying about him, and we think you youse oughtta stop, Capiche?”
"...Sean Spicer resigns..."
"On January 12, 2017, President Donald Trump announced his intent to appoint Scaramucci Director of the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs.[4] Scaramucci's swearing-in was reportedly delayed by an extended review of his finances by the Office of Government Ethics,[5][6] although the ethics office denied that clearance was necessary before making White House appointments.[7] Ultimately, George Sifakis was appointed instead."
"On June 26, 2017, three network investigative journalists; Thomas Frank, Eric Lichtblau, and Lex Haris, resigned from CNN over a retracted Trump-Russia story that connected Scaramucci to a $10 billion Russian investment fund. The network apologized to Scaramucci and stated the online story did not meet their editorial standards. Scaramucci said the original story was not true, and accepted CNN's apology."
"According to Politico, on January 31, 2017, with his appointment still pending approval by the United States Office of Government Ethics (OGE), Trump's chief of staff Reince Priebus called Scaramucci "to tell him he should pull out of consideration". They reported that Priebus opposed Scaramucci's appointment because Scaramucci had a direct relationship with Trump"
What exactly does Scaramucci bring to the job? Based on what I can see of his resume he’s never been a communications person of any kind at any level. Why him, why now?
Spicer was a supporter of the president, so far as I could tell.
I never have thought he was very good in front of the camera.
I suppose I’d say he is about a B- or a C+ press secretary.
That’s not great praise, but it isn’t failing either.
He’ll be on morning Joe and they’re going to love him. We’re about to see where his loyalties really are.
I liked Sean, not thinking this is a shade like Sessions.
Trump just moved his knight, that’s all.
Trump is running a program we will never understand until he reveals it is through a series of brilliant moves.
What I want is for Trump to strike at the heart until the creatures are all dead.
Wheeeeeeee!
Wow, the Slimes sure know how to turn a phrase, don't they?
Sorry to see Sean go. Sarah will be a good replacement.
Gorka for press secretary.
The Daily Caller article about this uses the NYT as its sources, and the NYT source about the various peoples’ “feelings” is an “White House insider” who is not named.
They won’t be happy until Ivanka is Chief of Staff, Don Jr. Communications Director and his other son is Press Secretary.
I’m with those that say this isn’t good. Just a gut feeling. How long before Sessions “resigns” or is fired?
