If the source is accurate as to Spicer’s reasons then it’s more likely that HE wanted or expected the job and might be upset about it.
He's been the acting communications director, so it would be unusual if he wasn't upset about not keeping the gig he'd been holding down.
I wish him well. He might do similar to Lewandowski, who was fired and then went on to defend Trump's campaign and later Trump as POTUS. Plenty of doors open for Spicer, I'm sure.
I don't imagine this affects Trump at all, on any level.
Scaramucci was Trumps appointment for the position in January...Spicer objected then....so Trumps just putting the man in he wanted in the first place.
