The Washington Post and journalists at ABC hear what they want to hear. The Post in a headline on Thursday declared that James Comey “laid out the case that President Trump obstructed justice.” Except he didn't say that. After the hearings, ABC suggested that Comey intended “to lay out the facts and hope there is a prosecution for obstruction of justice.”

You can be sure anything published in the WaPo is directly 180 degrees incorrect. Whatever you see in the WaPo, start by believing exactly the opposite of the stated premise. It has negative credibility. The WaPo is the plaything of Jeff Bezos, equivalent to a vandal painting graffiti on the side of a railroad car with a free box of spray paint supplied for his use. Or if you let it, your garage door. It is purely a propaganda instrument. In no way whatsoever does it bear any resemblance to what one might call a “newspaper”. It is purely a source of propaganda editorial content. You want to pay for that, go for it.

Comey “laid out” a story he hopes will keep him out of jail and out of the Clintons’ gunsights. it is a delicate calculation for a weakling. He did what he could to protect Mrs Bill but he is not up to taking a bullet for her, or from her.
According to Alan Dershowitz a president can order an investigation of any individual to be dropped for any reason. He says that there might be political ramifications, but that the president’s authority here is pretty clear.
If that is true, then obstruction of justice is an issue only for those people who mis-understand (deliberately or otherwise) presidential authority.
WaPo isn’t interested in impartial legalities. Bezos’ blog embraces or dismisses rule of law based solely on its usefulness at destroying Western Civilization.
