Up until now, the Democratic Party had gone 0-for-6 in Trump-era attempts to win GOP-held legislative seats, with Republicans actually adding to their tally in Louisiana. That changed in two northeastern states last night, where democrats won a pair of races, both of which must be considered significant upsets:

The American people have always been dupes, a term the communists exploited in the 1950s.
Republicans deserve to lose as they are no different than the Dems.
That’s an incredibly ignorant statement.
Whatever house members or senators these states as Rs are needed.
If districts are being flipped at the local level, they may be flipped at the state level.
But ignorance is bliss so enjoy yourself :)
It was GOP held, yeah. The headline mentioned the GOP “ winning back the seat, which was confusing because it was “won back” from a 5 month vacancy, not a democrat.
So I saw that the unfortunately named Tom Perez’s naval reserve unit was called up, so he dropped his primary challenge to Mark Sanford.
Sanford has another primary foe, Eyeglasses Magnate and former Marine Corp Pilot Ted Fienning, I hope HIS reserve unit isn’t also called up.
Mark Sanford was an adherent to 3 terms and out. He’s now serving in his third consecutive term in his second go-around in Congress, so he should (ought to) retire at the end of this term.
It’s unfortunate about him, though. He was an excellent Congressman and leader during his first tenure, and ditto for a decent part of his Gubernatorial reign, but after the incident with his South American paramour, he seemed to lose all judgment and has been mediocre since.
You are all correct. I should have read the article more carefully and I should have refrained from posting when I’m half asleep. Mea Culpa.
The NH State Senate seat was carried by a Dem by 56 votes. It’s the town where Romney’s summer house is. The NH Senate has 24 seats. GOP lead was 14-10 now its 13-11. My beloved NH has finally succumbed like VT and ME to transplanted Dems. This says nothing of any national trend. Shame to lose by 56 votes though.
Article V, or we will “get the government we deserve.”
Our people and government are too ignorant and too corrupted to successfully implement Article V in hopes of restoring our Republic.
The powerful, wealthy elites hold us and our country hostage to their seemingly limitless resources and determination to continue their (so far) successful march toward their one world global domination. Just as they co-opt every whimper of protest, i.e. Tea Party, they would infiltrate and ensure Article V results benefited their global goals. They salivate at the opportunity.
For them, DJT is a short-lived, unexpected bump in the road. If they aren’t successful in taking him out, they will ride it out and make up for lost time post-Trump.
Just my $.02 opinion.
Trumps media team needs to be campaigning for him now. There are so many areas they could improve in taking control of the media narrative.
I did a whole article on it:

Excellent read thank you
I believe that Fox still wins in overall viewers for the whole week. But—there’s no accounting for taste—it is virtually a tie with MSNBC, and MSNBC is looking better if you look at some key subgroups.
The district never won by a Democrat is my town.
It’s bad, but not as bad as they make it sound.
The GOP won the seat in November. The winner promptly resigned to accept a job with the new Republican governor.
The town said they couldn’t afford a special election, that the seat should stay vacant until 2019. The local Democrats protested, so they were all energized by that. They won their case, and a special election was held.
The RAT is a local “good government” person - clean water, money for schools, etc. She’s prominent in town, everybody knows her. The GOP had their traditional circular firing squad primary, and the guy who was the nominee, an unknown, lost by less than 100 votes.
The Republican Party in NH is seriously divided, there really isn’t a core GOP vote, but in most races socons, country clubbers, and liberdopians will pile in and sometimes win.
And guess what, Fienning has now dropped out of the race against Sanford. Currently no challengers of any party.
Saw that wading through the bilge of the Politics1 twatterfeed.
