Do they police the Portland supermarkets for the ethnicity of their shoppers? You never know when a person of European descent might buy tortillas and attempt cultural appropriation in their home kitchen.

So only genuine Mexicans can prepare and sell Mexican food in restaurants?
That may cut down on the number of places to get Mexican food, outside of the Southwest.
Of course Taco Bell will be free to continue operations since no one would confuse it with real Mexican food.

With the possible exception of some beach towns, “Burritos” are something you will not see on the menu of a restaurant IN Mexico, at least one more that 200 km from the US border.

One of our taco shops cracks me up!
It’s run by Indians, the food is made by mexicans and the white patrons eat tacos (cameron, lengua....) and the Mexican patrons eat cheese burgers.
There is fried chicken too :)
