White House announces President Donald Trump has fired FBI Director James Comey
It would be constitutional if they had the votes but they don’t have the votes. If they had the votes they could force a nominee of their liking, or else keep an “Acting Director” indefinitely.... but they don’t have the votes. So long as the Republicans can stick together, the Demoncraps can’t do more than rant at the new nominee in the confirmation hearings. They can do procedural delays and even filibuster, but McConnell and co. can ram the new nominee through... they just need to grow spines. But they did ok with Gorsuch!

No, this is much much better than that. Comey has embarrassed himself with inaccurate Congressional testimony this week and the Deputy Attorney General (who was confirmed well after Sessions) had time to assemble an ironclad case of statements and analysis. This was the perfect way to handle it ... except that they should have known when/how to inform Comey.... doing this via news media while he was in LA addressing FBI staff gives us chuckles here, but really does not reflect well on the White House staff. Still, I’m just glad that we are finally “moving on” from Comey, and hope/trust that we will now get a far better FBI Director.

Trump doesn’t have to fire McCabe. That is the job of the new FBI Director. Would you take a position as the head of a company and keep the old company’s #2 guy. Never.
McCabe will be gone as soon as the new Director is sworn in.
nixon was about to b impeached righty or wrongly. The next few months he would have been paralyzed by the process. He resigned because he thought it was best for the country.
But I hope we can have an Acting Director immediately who is not McCabe. We cannot have McCabe calling the shots and controlling the information & investigative tools for any length of time at all. He is a leftard scumbag.
The media hate Trump. If he did it immediately upon being sworn in, the media would just find another excuse to bash him for.
One of the BENEFITS of having the media constantly ripping on Trump is that he doesn’t have to include them in his calculations. If they ripped him only so often, he would have to tread more lightly hoping not to set them off.
By ripping him nightly, the commie media doesn’t realize they have freed Trump from worry about what they will say, giving him free reign. He no longer has to worry about it as long as he pleases his base.
