I would like to meet that idiot, Id like to meet the numskull that would say that, he told reporters. That after 200 years, at least 100 years of this tradition, where the Senate has functioned pretty well, they think it would be a good idea to blow it up.
McCain said changing the rules would be a body blow to the institution, adding he thinks it puts them on a slippery slope.

McCain said hes had numerous conversations with members on both sides of the aisle in an attempt to strike an agreement on the matter.

President Trump please ‘unmask’ this idiot!!!!!
I remember his gang of 6 lecturing us around 2003 that we shouldn’t use the nuclear option or else the dems would use it when they got back in power. They didn’t use it, Dems got back into power, and mostly gutted it anyway.
Translated; We can’t give up our ability to run the whole show, no matter what the voters, Representatives and the President wants.
It’s time to ride off into the sunset, McStain...
The Senate has been a joke for years. The slippery slope began with the 17th amendment, which called for the direct election of U.S. Senators in all states (states had previously appointed or elected them as they wished).
Democrats who politicized the confirmation process destroyed whatever credibility the Senate ever had.
He doesnt realize the Democrats have slid them into hell already. Get over it and fight back.
As opposed to a smart idiot?
As opposed to a smart idiot.
Mean people suck.
If anyone’s an expert on “stupid idiots”, it would be McCain.
Bingo! Your post is the winner.
Look in da mirror, Johheny boy.
J. McCain (D) from Arizona....
As opposed to a smart idiot.
And, who is the idiot? Senility is hard on the mind.
I’d have more respect for this guy if he would just change parties and get it over with already.
I suppose that he would agree that running guns to rebels without congressional approval would be ‘against’ the Senate rules? Lock his arse up.
Then go talk to Harry Reid, your blood brother, he started it.
