In 1967, after shooting Mutiny on the Bounty, Marlon Brando bought the atoll of Tetiaroa in French Polynesia as his secluded getaway from the dreaded klieg lights of Hollywood.
Fifty years later, after Barack Obama staged a mutiny against his party by refusing entreaties to lead the Resistance to Donald Trump, he flew to a luxury resort on Brandos island to evade the partisan clashes in Washington.
It seems fitting that Obama would end up at The Brando, as the resort is known, since the two men have much in common.
Marlon Brando is considered to be one of the greatest movie actors of all timeand yet he hated being an actor.
Barack Obama is considered to be one of the most compelling political campaigners of all timeand he hates being a politician.
The movie critic Pauline Kael once called Brando the rebel.
Obama, when asked to pick his favorite character from Star Wars, chose Han Solo because hes a little bit of a rebel.
Brando was a leftwing activist who participated in the civil rights and Native American movements.
Obama was a leftwing community organizer who became the most liberal president in our history.
Brando was a famous recluse.
Obama is famous for preferring his own company to that of others.
While at The Brando, Obama has been staying at a villa with its own plunge pool, private beach, and TV media room. Hes been working on his White House memoirs, reading a book about Teddy Roosevelts post-presidency, snorkeling, bike riding, riding outriggers and canoes, sampling the French cuisine at Les Mutinés restaurant, and watching the sun set from Bobs Bar. Obama issued a brief statement defending his signature domestic achievement during the recent ObamaCare brouhaha on Capitol Hill, but hes refused to take phone calls from Democrat politicians. However, while hes going French in French Polynesia, he does take an occasional call from his éminence grise, Valerie Jarrett.
Ouch! lol
[he was a Manchurian Candidate]
Yes, I was one who has been saying it for a long time. I’m also sorry to say, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him. Though I’d prefer to be 100% wrong.
Roosevelt spent most of post presidency exploring the Amazon and hunting big game in Africa and North America. Obama's reading about that? I find that hard to believe.
[Busy kneeling down in front of Satan]
Given this no-talent, constantly-lying con-artist went from nothing to 1, 2, 3 wins in politics, finally landing in the U.S. Presidency, I’d say that actually is probably more accurate than you might think.
Oh so True man. ;-)
I really can’t blame Obama for high tailing out into the other side of the world to a remote island...
Who wants to see his entire life’s socialist work pulled apart piece by piece by people he loaths and hate...
And then the media ask you everyday your opinion on it..
Dude walked into that one. He HAS to know that’s how she is known ....perhaps he actually knew what he was saying.
More like Reggie doing the de"briefing".
He’s being his faggot self.
I don;t care where he is. After 8 years of that POS, out of sight is where he needs to stay.
I hope sharks have a feeding frenzy with him.
Was Brando also trying to avoid extradition?
Two questions.
Does this “Brando Island” belong to a recognized (has a US diplomatic presence) nation?
Does this nation in question have an extradition treaty with the US? Preferably one with few, if any, restrictions o who can not be extradited.
What have the sharks done to you?
High five, Nana!
Imagine how amazing those sunsets look if you’re with your most special person and a nose full of cocaine? It’s a real vacation, alright.
LOL
Where is Odumbo?
Who really gives a sh.t? I don’t. Just glad he isn’t here. Very glad!
Where is Obama?
Simple.
He has placed himself beyond subpoena process by the House Investigative Committee on Intelligence, He has a lot to explain and he has made himself scarce.
Nunes would like to bring him before the committee.
Thats why the Dems are screaming for Nunes to resign.
He’s not in a dark cell for the rest of time so the insult to the Constitution lives on.
