Since CNNs middle name is News, viewers of the weekday morning New Day program expect to catch up on the latest headlines and watch in-depth investigations on the topics of the day. That wasnt quite the case on Wednesday, when the final segment of the program was devoted to a hard-hitting report on whether President Donald Trump is afraid of stairs.
The two-minute segment by Jeanne Moos, the networks national correspondent, focused on several British newspapers that claim the GOP occupant of the White House has bathmophobia, the fear of stairs and slopes.
ScareCase chortled one British paper back when President Trump took Prime Minister [Theresa] Mays hand as they navigated their way up at the White House, Moos stated before claiming that British government sources told the press that the presidents rare condition might cause sufferers to panic at the mere sight of a flight of stairs.
She asserted that the fear doesnt just affect the president before showing a clip of President George W. Bush nudging Barney, his pet Scottish Terrier, up the ramp of stairs onto Air Force One.

Yea, and then there was Obama. Bopping down the stairs of AF1 flopping his limp wrists like the homosexual I am sure he is down deep. Used to make me want to puke!
At least President Trump can walk upstairs and downstairs, more than Hillary can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was super happy when the put a railing on the steps for my apartment...Age 73.
I first saw this reported in the Daily Telegraph. Perhaps if they paid less attention to Trump and stairs and more to jihadi terrorism, Westminster Bridge could have been avoided.
Nah...
Yes to Magnesium glycinate and magnesium spray for knee and hip arthritis pain. Amazing how well it works
I could care less.
I do know that CNN is terrified of truth.
They’re hoping for a Gerald Ford stumble.
The President is 3 days younger than me. I can walk up stairs easily, but I avoid coming down stairs, because it hurts my knees. I even come down the stairs at home backwards, because I can avoid the knee impact that way.
I am so sick of this shit. And I’m even more sick of the fact that average citizens haven’t burned these frauds at the stake.
If true, which is always in doubt by the enemedia, it could simply mean that he’s a cautious, and extremely aware person, unlike his predecessors.
I’m much younger than him, and I have to take special care going downstairs. So sue me.
When Trump steps off Air Force One, at least he walks like a normal human, not that limp-wristed-bunny-hop prancing Barry did when coming down the jetway.
You’ll be suprised at how dumb they can be, really. Aren’t you already? If not, then, why not?
THE OLD DAYS
Trump walked up stairs to board his 747, and walked down to exit
He famously rode down the escalator to make his announcement:

His penthouse apartment in Trump Tower has an internal spiral staircase:

And an external golden staircase:
And don’t get me started on the staircases at his mansions and properties.
How many times have I watched Mr. Trump descend the stairs on both Trump 1 and AF1.
I have always appreciated that he is deliberate about the stairs. I think of him whenever I descend stairs. Watch the feet, Use the handrail. Portable airstairs can be tough and each of them are a little different so we have to overcome muscle memory on stairs.
“Jeanne Moos” is a complete sentence.
The author of this ridiculous article did not watch all (any?) of the Trump campaign rallies held in airplane hangars. Too bad. It was great watching him come come down the stairs of his plane.
They are desperate!
