The boss is in town and said no one will have any appointments.
We will be testing the new system for a new medical insurance that is starting April 1st. Our system is/was set up for taking insurance deductions every two weeks.....26 times a year. The new insurance is paid monthly, so half will be taken out of the first check and half the second check and two times a year, when there is a third Friday, nothing will be taken out.
And we, payroll, are only involved in “benefits” because Benefits couldn’t do the job....give it to payroll. Like we really have time, but now it is our responsibility to make sure folks deductions are taken when they are supposed to be.
I can’t wait for this week to be over!! We will need all the luck we can get.
Oh, so this new insurance is the system you’d mentioned before that they were unloading on y’all? I know y’all are thrilled it’s finally there. Do I need a sarcasm tag? LOL
Yeah, you’re gonna need luck and then some. I mean it’s not like y’all aren’t loaded down already. *sigh*
Oh no.....it is sure not safe if a pack of dogs is running around.
Hope you get your warm weather and rain, too.
Mom is in bed watching TV. Today was all the different signs on the garage door across the street and on our mail box....at least 20 different ones that I had to go see.
Moving Sale was the big one. There are no signs.
I’ll check on it in the morning. Hard to see bitty things on the IR cam.
The dogs aren’t here all the time but we don’t know when they’ll be brought here to run. Just have to play it safe and keep the cats inside all the time and I’m not happy about it. Neither are they.
We’ll still have a cold snap or two but we hope they aren’t as cold as this last one. This week looks really good. Rain chances look good too.
Oh boy! Sign day. LOL! Hope your knees survived all the getting up and down without giving you grief tonight.
Shoot, that IR cam is a good one and the pip was easily visible. But now it’s a BIG crack and the eaglet was chirping up a storm a little while ago. All’s quiet at the moment but there’s a good chance the next time Liberty gets up, the eaglet could be out.
I saw that video of when she got up and the pip with the huge crack was clearly visible! yay! New babies!
I’m going to head out early. Didn’t sleep well last night. See ya tomorrow! I might have to watch that nest just a LITTLE more. LOL!
She’s gotten up a couple of times recently but won’t let us see the egg, durn it. Lil birdie sure raises a ruckus. It wants OUT.
Hope you get a better night’s sleep tonight. No furry bed warmers!
No furry bed warmers! LOL! I thought I was going to have Peaches, but he decided at the last minute that it was too hot to stay in.
I saw her move, and that is one noisy hatchling! But no sighting. Did hear a cat [or something] fight though!
Yay for Peaches wanting to go out. Gives you a little peace while sleeping. LOL
Maybe we’ll get a sighting soon. Can still hear little chirps occasionally so the eaglet is still working under there.
I wasn’t sure what the racket was at first but yep, it was a cat fight. Sounded like a doozy.
((HUGS))Good morning, Ladies. Thanks for this morning's thread, Star. How's it going?
Hi Kathy! Thanks for another inspiring bio!
Good morning, Canteen.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Star, for preparing
the Canteen for today's activities.
KUDOS and Salute to
Karl G. Taylor, Sr.
May he rest in Peace.
Well, I'm happy to say
that I finally slept past 5 a.m. this morning.
Actually, I slept past 6 this morning and most of the weekend.
Thanks to hubby taking care of Eada and Daisy.
However, that means another post and run day.
How is everyone this morning.
I hear that we lost another FReeper recently.
Didn't know him, but I hope his passing was peaceful.
But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!
The FR Canteen is
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
