Every time I see an interview discussing 2016 surveillance of the Trump Campaign and candidate Donald Trump I keep going back to that November 17th, 2016, Trump Tower visit by NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers.
No-one in the Obama chain-of-command knew Director Rogers was going to meet with President-Elect Trump; Rogers did it entirely on his own impetus, and James Clapper was furious in the aftermath.
Additionally, Admiral Mike Rogers is still running the NSA. President Trump has made no effort to replace him.
Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command. He didnt use the NSA. He didnt use the CIA. He didnt use the FBI, and he didnt use Department of Justice. He used GCHQ. What the heck is GCHQ? Thats the initials for the British spying agency. They have 24/7 access to the NSA database. So by simply having two people go to them saying, President Obama needs transcripts of conversations involving candidate Trump, conversations involving president-elect Trump, hes able to get it, and theres no American fingerprints on this.
~ Judge Andrew Napolitano
If what Napolitanos sources are saying is true, then its even more confirmation of our hunch in an earlier timeline. NSA Director Mike Rogers didnt want to participate in, or give aid in relationship to, the surveillance scheme. Consequently, the Obama White House worked around Rogers with another source, British Government Communications Head Quarters (GCHQ), for the same information.
In 2013 Edward Snowden released information the UK GCHQ was being party funded by the U.S. NSA to the tune of over £100 million:
[ ] The funding underlines the closeness of the relationship between GCHQ and its US equivalent, the National Security Agency. But it will raise fears about the hold Washington has over the UKs biggest and most important intelligence agency, and whether Britains dependency on the NSA has become too great. (link)
January 23rd, 2017, three days after President Trumps inauguration, the head of the U.K. General Communications Head Quarters (GCHQ) unexpectedly resigns:
Robert Hannigan, the director of GCHQ, has resigned from his job as head of one of the three Government intelligence agencies after just two years.
GCHQ would only say that Mr Hannigan had left his post for personal reasons and that he was not sacked or subject to disciplinary proceedings. (link)
[Previously] In hindsight, NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers may have notified Team Trump of Obamas Intelligence Community (James Clapper and John Brennan) involvement or engagement in surveillance activity.
As you look at the dates below, its important to note that NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers would be keenly aware of both the June FISA request Denied, and the October request Granted. Pay specific attention to the October request. October!.
June 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration files a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers. The request, uncharacteristically, is denied.
October 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons.
Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.
♦ On Tuesday November 8th, 2016 the election was held. Results announced Wednesday November 9th, 2016.
♦ On Thursday November 17th, 2016, NSA Director Mike Rogers traveled to New York and met with President-Elect Donald Trump.
♦ On Friday November 18th The Washington Post reported on a recommendation in October that Mike Rogers be removed from his NSA position:
The heads of the Pentagon and the nations intelligence community have recommended to President Obama that the director of the National Security Agency, Adm. Michael S. Rogers, be removed.
The recommendation, delivered to the White House last month, was made by Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter and Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr., according to several U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
[ ] In a move apparently unprecedented for a military officer, Rogers, without notifying superiors, traveled to New York to meet with Trump on Thursday at Trump Tower. That caused consternation at senior levels of the administration, according to the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal personnel matters. (link)
Remember, historically The Washington Post is the preferred outlet for the CIA and Intelligence Community within Deep State to dump their leaks and stories. [The State Department leaks to CNN for the same purposes.]
♦ On Saturday November 19th Reuters reported on the WaPo Story and additional pressure by Defense Secretary Ash Carter and DNI James Clapper to fire Mike Rogers.
[ ] The Washington Post reported that a decision by Rogers to travel to New York to meet with Trump on Thursday without notifying superiors caused consternation at senior levels of the administration, but the recommendation to remove him predated his visit. (link)
If you just look at the timeline of activity a picture emerges:
Occams Razor. NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers didnt want to participate in the spying scheme (Clapper, Brennan, Etc.), which was the baseline for President Obamas post presidency efforts to undermine Donald Trump and keep Trump from digging into the Obama labyrinth underlying his remaining loyalists. After the October spying or surveillance operation went into effect, Rogers unknown loyalty was a risk to the Obama objective. 10 Days after the election Rogers travels to President-Elect Trump without notifying those who were involved in the intel scheme.
Did NSA Director Mike Rogers wait for a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) to be set up in Trump Tower, and then notify the President-elect he was being monitored by a group representing President Obamas interests?
“Make it pay-per-view and we will be out of debt.”
Particularly if Haiti, Syria, Egypt, Ecuador, Britain, Russia, Iraq and Israel can buy in at “preferred viewing rates” with HD quality and varying camera angles, followed up with parting gift of a special edition commemorative blu-ray copy
Why we don’t mercilessly deal with high level corruption in this country is beyond me.
Ya think I was talking about the voters @34?
Come on.
More likely, he’d be dead if he hadn’t spilled the beans to Mr. Trump. Undivulged testimony is more likely to result in an arkancide than testimony that is already out there. Witnesses don’t die the day **after** the trial.
Why did Zero sign the EO permitting unvetted NSA communications monitoring to be disseminated among other Federal agencies without NSA edits? Not just because it would make it more difficult to discover the leakers as Mark Levin and others have been saying, but also because it allowed an end-run around Mike Rogers.
Zero, Clapper, and the SecDef needed to neutralize Rogers but could not do so without risking that Rogers might go public. By effectively taking control over surveillance releases out of his hands, 0bama and his minions, flunkies, and stooges "fired" Mike Rogers without having to pay the cost. That is almost certainly the reason for Rogers meeting with Trump after the initial, unauthorized confab that put Rogers in the Deep State's cross-hairs in the first place.
Now... if Rogers is as smart as people say he is, and if he has a few people whom he absolutely trusts at NSA, he has had the NSA monitoring the other US intel agencies, and may already have placed information about who the leakers are in the hands of the President. That evidence, which came later, was probably what prompted Trump's "baseless" wiretap tweet.
If so, his current silence in the face of the media onslaught means that he has been giving the Dems, Clapper, Juan McCain, et al just about enough rope to hang themselves.
Friends vouching for him notwithstanding, Comey has a history with the Clintons going all the way back to the wrist slap he and Lynch delivered in the BCCI case, which suggests very strongly that he is — and always has been — a dirty cop. We’ll see about him as this unravels.
Artful dodger dirty cop, plays clean in emergencies.
I suspect his (supposedly) wanting the DOJ to force Trump to withdraw his claims and his refusal to comment on whether he did or did not make any such statement behind the scenes is probably the best indication we have that Comey is still playing a classic double-game.
Not to mention the desperation in congress to get their hands on the “proof”...
It’s not like any of them are asking for “proof” to back up any other wild claims.
They insinuate that this proof is necessary because the charge against Obama , a former president, is unprecedented,
yet not one has been concerned about false charges levied by libs and Obama against Bush, also a former president. Surely “he lied, people died” and the nonsense about deliberately abandoning the people in Katrina is every bit as unprecedented as a claim that a former president bugged the opposition, which seems a minor charge, by comparison. Or Bush I for that matter- he was alleged to have taken flight in an SR71 to do dirty deeds.
The traitor Comey may come out against Trump tomorrow — the Ides of March. I hope Trump has insider info from the purportedly loyal Mike Rogers to do Comey in and expose the would-be assassins.
Anyone on the British side going to verify any of this?
Yep. Even NeverTrumper so-called conservatives like Mark Levin -- who has viciously bashed CTH and Sundance -- don 't do any actual research. Levin just read stories from the NYTimes and Guardian on air as evidence of a wiretap of Trump. Sundance does serious digging and analysis.

Sundance is about the only investigative journalist left in the business. Everyone else just repeats what’s spoon fed to them.

What happened to all the Russia stories? They seem to have dried up.
Just lightly reading this makes me think Rogers has not changed. He seems to be on Trump’s side.
Obama doesn’t have one bone of leadership in his body. He’s been a useful marionette and continues to be so, I suppose.

Not well appreciated, and more significant than most realize.
That is, many Dem officials are literally *married* to high executives and reporters/editors in the press; and that different state organs literally use certain favorite channels in the press, to leak or disseminate damaging information to take out their political opponents.
While using the untold wealth confiscated from the taxpayers or borrowed from their descendants via deficit spending, to reward their cronies.
Then there are the pedophile networks.
Thousands ought to be imprisoned at least, and their wealth confiscated.
