There will be snow Sat. but we won’t get much here if any. It’s going to be cold regardless for the next week.
Sure hope those storms calm down. 10:00 news just opened with video and pix of LARGE hail slamming down in northern TN a while ago. No tornado warnings as of now but there are a lot of severe storm warnings. Could get bumpy here in a bit.

I had a dentist appointment this afternoon that got me home a bit early. Met by Mom wanting to know when she could use the bathroom.
What? There are signs that say “Don’t use the toilet”. There is even a sign across the street that says “Don’t use the toilet”.
She had been waiting all day for me to get home. It took a half hour explaining over and over that she uses the commode, as I won’t let her go into the bathroom further than the sink as her wheel chair will go in, but she would never get out. Just backing out of the door way last night she tore the door stop off the door frame. At least for tonight she understands that there will NEVER be a reason that she cannot use the commode.
Several times in the last hour and a half she has called me to come see the signs across the street. The last one was “Help, I’ve lost my way to the dentist...Brian Jennings”. There is no sign, and I don’t know any Brian Jennings. Needless to say, this evening has been trying so far.

Good evening, radu...((HUGS))...how did your day go?
We had a beautiful, sunny, blue sky day, mid 20s...melting everywhere. Before I go to bed I have to put more windshield wiper fluid in the car. I actually drove thru some puddles today, but the main roads seem to be doing fine. Driving in the right lanes in the morning could be problematic for ice.
The day went better than it sounds like your day’s gone.
Went to the SS office and got signed up for SS and Medicare. Still has me feeling a little weird. LOL
Now to see how the night goes. NASTY storms heading our way. Now there are two tornado warnings west of us and even if one doesn’t crop up here, there are still very strong winds along the whole storm line. Getting ready to be dicey here.
I saw the streets downtown were pretty dry this afternoon when I checked the cams. Still slushy stuff on the sides though. That sure will be slick in the morning and I don’t envy any of you having to drive on that mess.
Heading out with the camera because there’s lightning to our west. MAYBE it’ll be worth going out for.

Are the two Latvian eagles on the nest now Brunhilde and Quatro? I can’t keep up any more. LOL!

Mom’s father was a red-headed Irishman and of us three kids, I got the most of his genes apparently. Brother and sister, not so much.
They’ve stopped naming the eagles since there have been so many occupant turnovers lately. LOL! Couldn’t keep up. These two have stuck around a while and have been “bonding” so who knows? We might have eggs on the nest before long. They need to at least get some grass in the bowl so the sticks don’t crack the eggs.
My mom’s mom was a Scots Campbell. Her dad was from English stock. My dad, English stock. My mom, dad, brother and myself all have/had red hair. I think we gingers are quite special. :)
They do tend to be hanging around and at least the center of the nest is pretty free of large sticks. I hope they will lay, I wanna see babies there. :)

Irish and German on Mom’s side, English and Scottish on Dad’s. And Hubby wonders where my temper came from. LOL!
Nice to see them stick around for a while today. The last two days, they showed up briefly and took off.
There are still questions as to whether this female is old enough yet. The male is a mature eagle but she’s still spotty and has a lot of black in her tail feathers like a juvie. All we can do is stay tuned to “As The Nest Turns” and see what happens next. :-)

More than ready....hopefully I can get some sleep.
I need to find a thingy that connects to the lamp so Mom can just push the button to turn the lamp on and off. She can’t turn it on or off anymore. So tonight she just pushed buttons to turn the TV off. Needless to say, that didn’t go well. I finally got all the right buttons pushed and she can watch TV...and I turned the lamp on.
So true. Motel 6 Latvia. LOL
German/Irish. What an explosive combination! Whew!!
