I have actually suggest Midway Island for that purpose.
Nobody lives there except a few biologist studying sea birds. But, there is an airport with a long runway that I was told is kept operational as an emergency landing site for trans Pacific airliners that need to make an emergency landing.

You mean let the constitution work. Because we aren’t a large singular block for election purposes. But the bonus is that people like me living in rural Pennsylvania count for more in the presidential election via the electoral college than if we were living in a true Democracy.

They got Northern California, Oregon and Washington, all full of idiots like them. What does the 9th Circus also got to have Hawaii for? There are no unemployed lawyers looking for a sinecure in Hawaii? There has to be more circuit courts of appeals established.
