After that press conference I lost nearly all the confidence I had in Sessions.

He came off as a weak push over. He is an honorable man, with integrity. But I don’t think he fully understands that the MSM and the democrats are actually enemies inside the lines. They are not his friends. They will do whatever they have to to destroy all these great men. We need a tough AG. Like Patton tough.

The rule of law in our republic is floundering.

Yes. Sucking in its last few breaths as we watch helplessly...

So far, biggest trump mistake was listening to Seattle judge. Now what?

He has plain language authority, it’s his call. But he blinked onc.

Undoing this needs doing, but the media will scream bloody murder.

He blew it big time.

At this point he has to assert himself and say he’s always had the authority and efforts to stop him are seditious. This argument will get heated and visible. In order to win, he needs to read his authority out loud daily.

This completely gets in the way of his agenda and momentum. And the left knows it.

we agree and I would add the presidential powers for national security rank higher in authority over any court.

You are entitled to your opinion as am I.
No need to refer to others as idiotic.

President Trump had better tell them to go to he’ll this time. He’s on firm legal and constitutional footing here, just like the last time.

“Sessions is such a nice man that I was shocked Trump picked him for AG. I thought he should have picked either Christie or Rudy.”

I said at the time that choosing a Senator has it’s risks, the biggest is they all have Senatorial Disease, the symptoms of which are being too nice, being too “Honorable” and not wanting to make waves. Sessions needs to show us some “Eric Holder” and quick; if not then Trump needs to replace him with a mad dog.

This is no time to play with courtesy or Senate decorum!!

The dems know trump has to assert himself here. If not, they will do similar regarding the nail in the horse shoe.

He’s going to have to somehow say that the first TRO was illegal and he’s decided now that he no longer going to be bound by federal court in this matter. The media will say he’s become a rogue dictator. If he does nothing, the next subject of his agenda will get blocked by a fed judge she.

Clintons would never have allowed this. They’d have butchered the fed clown in their way.

This issue is the deciding factor or of trumps presidency. Fail and he’s dead.

Trump has to do ONE thing to stop it all. He needs to start having leftists investigated, indicted and arrested for whatever we can get them on.

He needs an attack dog AG to get that done. So far, Sessions hasn't shown that sort of inclination.

“The Cold Civil War continues. Another Blue State is trying to endanger the United States by stopping President Trump from protecting the American People from terrorists.”

It is a civil war. One side refuses to respect the other, but when they are in power, their word is law. If they run Trump out of office, it’s time for us to leave.

Nearly?? He is the quintessential Republican: spineless, weak, w/o moral or character, finger-in-the-wind, milquetoast and more worried about re-election than their oath of office.

I expected to see a stain in the trousers and puddle at the podium (Depends?) after his rolling onto his back at the 1st sign of DEM\MSM ‘angst’. Glass chin.

Slightly more pathetic than the ‘blood-hounds’ of Congress (Gowdy, Issa, etc.): asking some GOOD questions, finding/obtaining the damnable evidence...then doing jack-sh!t to punish the guilty (Holder, Lerner, Cankles, etc.). POWER galore, and not one timid finger to raise against judicial tyranny and lawlessness.

I was dubious about all the huzzah’s around here about Sessions being some kind of super sheriff. The first time he was challenged by the media he looked like Henry Gibson on Laugh-In several decades back.

Trump gave it up when he issued the first order and then participate in a court appeal. He should have declare his constitutional authority as not subject to the courts jurisdiction.

I don't know why he doesn't just do that now. The law hasn't changed. The Constitution hasn't changed. All that's happened, is two courts have rendered illegal and baseless rulings on his first ban.

He could issue a statement tonight, asserting his legal authority, and the separation of powers. Tell the courts that their rulings are null and void, and get on with doing his job.

As it stands, the courts have effectively overthrown the law and the Constitution. President? What president?

Trump and your DOJ: if you even appear in a lower Federal court for this case, you are violating USConstitution, since that court has no jurisdiction. SCOTUS would be the only court with jurisdiction, since it has “original jurisdiction”. Enforce the law; do the law; insist the law be done.

Native Hawaiians are the worst kind of racists. They’d make the KKK and La Raza look like the Swedes.
