Trump Set the Trap and the Rats (and RINOs) Walked In
Self | 3/4/2017 | LS

Posted on 03/04/2017 7:00:02 AM PST by LS

Over the past week the hysteria on the right and among some weak-kneed Trumpers has been over the top. Even Rush Limbaugh began to wiggle uncomfortably, fearing Trump did know what he was up against, and hadn't moved fast enough to deal with the "silent coup" against him.

Jeff Sessions' recusal supposedly showed that Trump, like all the rest of the Republicans, didn't know how to play hardball.

Ooops.

I can always tell when something big is about to happen at Team Trump when my contact messages aren't returned. And I'm always pleasantly surprised that Team Trump is one to a dozen steps ahead of anything I'm thinking.

Case in point: yesterday I drafted a memo urging Trump to go on offense against the Democrats, specifically the Congressional rats. And as usual, I'm thinking of building a bowling alley while Trump is envisioning a gleaming skyscraper.

Today Trump's offensive began. But only after cleverly baiting the hook, luring the enemy Cannae-style into an envelope from which there is no escape.

He didn't fight back against the guys in the ring. He went after their manager, their coach, and their funder-in-chief. Trump went after the head of the snake.

By Tweeting that Trump Tower and his personal residence were bugged---and apparently the evidence of such a wiretap approval exists---Trump again shows why he plays 3D chess and his enemies are playing Parcheesi. The Bible says it this way: "They will come at you one way and go away fleeing seven."

Other than the fact that this is OBAMA he is going after, the juciest part is that Sessions did NOT recuse himself from a wiretap investigation of Obama. Get it?

Trump just leapfrogged the whole Russia thing with an "It ends today." Now Team Trump has leverage to force a full and total standdown of all opposition to Trump inside Congress, all end to the disruptions, and meek and timid confirmation of all appointees. Or Zero goes to jail. That simple.

Many here will want blood. But I'm reminded of Sam Houston after he defeated Santa Anna at San Jacinto. Instead of hanging the dictator, he merely took all of the American Southwest. Santa Anna was out soon anyway, but we still have Phoenix, Denver, and (unfortunately) California. It will be a negotiation from strength, and the Dems will have no choice but to comply. They won't completely give up---there will be surreptitious acts with enough deniability---but this was a perfectly baited hook that all of Trump's enemies just walked into.

But if they could use the first wide-range one from June, then they wouldn't have asked for the narrower range one from October.

Actually I think I said they couldn't use it in court but they might find information which would lead them to other legally acquired information. That is why they would ask for a more narrow authorization, to prove what they already knew from the illegal tapp.

Yeah, I figured that out when no White House people came on to the media. There has been no damage control frenzy.
That tells me there is no damage, and something is cooking.
As per usual it is just better to turn of the tune get on freerepublic.

“but they might find information which would lead them to other legally acquired information.”

What’s worse is if the find info that can’t be used, they will leak it out to the MSM anyway....that’s just as bad. Hell they have already been leaking fake info!!

Trump needs to drop a bomb on all this!! End it!!

"I was responding to a poster who said Minor left no doubt. "

I'm still waiting for your response to my #287. I'll repost it here to make it easier for you. BTW....I'm not going to let you slink away on this one.

"Come on! Minor says, right in the text, "As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case, it is not necessary to solve these doubts." So. 1) There ARE doubts. 2) Minor does not resolve them. That's all I said."

Read more carefully.

At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.

And then:

"Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case, it is not necessary to solve these doubts. It is sufficient for everything we have now to consider that all children born of citizen parents within the jurisdiction are themselves citizens. "

As you can see, the Court NEVER had any doubts about the class of natural born Citizens.

Whether persons born in the US to non-citizen parents were “citizens” was not a question before the Minor Court because Mrs. Minor was natural-born, whereas Wong Kim Ark was not. The determination of his citizenship required the 14th Amendment, whereas Mrs. Minor’s did not. It was held that Mrs. Minor was a US citizen – as the syllabus states in point 2 – because she was born in the US to parents who were citizens. This was the independent ground that springs forth precedent. (See Ogilvie Et Al., Minors v. United States, 519 U.S. 79 at 84 (1996)).

I should know better, that sounded uncharacteristic of VP Pence!

Still eagerly looking forward to revelations to come, though.

my concern is that these idnependents are actually left leanign independents who had a barrage of evidence that hteir preferred candidate was so corrupt that they couldn’t vote for her- but will gladly vote D again when they get a better liberal candidate- There was a slew of negative reports from wiki leaks, assange, then comey coming out at the end etc- that i beleive convinced some indies to vote trump because their preferred candidate stunk so bad-

independents are not a reliable voting block for republicans- they tend to lean left- perhaps this will change with trump makignAmerica great again- as I believe indies aren’t quite as far gone as liberals are for them ost part-

And I’m not ‘very concerned’ concerned ? Sure- The fate of the nation is at stake- who the hell wouldn’t be concerned after thsi country voted twice for the worst president ever with many independents voting obama? That certainly doesn’t instill much hope that folks have their heads screwed on right

A kindred soul. Beautifully said.

I think sending the terrorist mullahs in Iran upwards of 50 billion in cash in unmarked planes in the dead of the night is hard to top. It’s called TREASON.

I'm now wondering if the Sessions recusal WAS a mistake.

AG Sessions is a subject of the wiretapping, and thus is a material witness and victim. He may have needed to recuse himself anyways.

Further, by diverting 'phase 1' of the investigation to Congress, it cuts out the DOJ and any imbedded Obama traitors.

'Phase 2' can occur later, when better people are in place at the DOJ.

Is there such a thing as 5D chess? Because Donald plays it.

1. Contrary to all early-bailers around here, I do NOT necessarily think it was bad decision.

2. He is THE most loyal of Trump supporters. He recused for legit reason.

3. Yes, there was to be meeting with DT on Friday, and yes Jeff Sessions recused prior to that meeting. I thought DT would talk him out of it, but now am thinking JS would have talked DT into it.

If there is no DOJ investigation, the recusal is moot

We're in concensus on all three items.

Great comment by VRWCarea51:

One thing everyone should remember and reinforce when the Tapping of communications by Obama’s crew is descussed in the fact that they hacked Senate Staff P.C.s (Remember the Diane Finestien spat) a year or so ago. Also the attempt at hacking into the State of Georgia’s voting rolls traced back to a Federal Government server last fall!

These should be bundled up in the Congressional probe.

SC 1802. Sec. 102 (a) (1) Notwithstanding ANY OTHER LAW, the President through the Attorney General, may authorize electronic surveillance WITHOUT A COURT ORDER.

Did you know this?

Holder probably set the taps in motion then handed over to Lynch to be the patys for when it all went wrong... like it has.

Investigating the wiretapping will open up scores of other crimes, it’s like a flea born pregnant.

Now that I think about it, Holder probably engineered Lynch’s tarmac meeting to put ALL the stank on her and off him. But she’ll pull the 5th non-stop if questioned, like Lerner, except she’s got the race card to play.
