The major newspapers are just as bought as the major networks. They’ll be engaging in opposition spin and outright propaganda as usual. Many layers to this onion, it’s becoming obvious. Wouldn’t be surprised to see “damaging” revelations lined up and ready to go, to counter this.
there are so many open0-nded questions at this point. I am under the impression that usually FISA court hearings are closed to the public so as not to alert alleged evildoers (sorry for the use of errant has-been globalist terminology lol).
i continue to notice trump’s propensity to use twitter to open new avenues for investigative journalism. it seems to me less of a sign of weakness than boldness coming from strengh of character and sureness of purpose.

That’s a horrible analogy.
McCarthy was a great American patriot and as we know now from the Venona Papers, he was absolutely correct about the US government at that time being totally infested with Soviet spies.
The term McCarthyism is in serious need of a redefinition. What the McCarthy saga really proves is that the left will mercilessly destroy, through lies and all other forms of dishonesty, anyone who attempts to shed light on their treasonous activity. This is the real lesson of McCarthyism.
So in that respect, with the proper definition, yes, what the left is doing to Trump, another great American Patriot, is McCarthyism. But we need to redefine the term to be historically accurate first.
It sure sounds like laws were broken. Tampering with an election? Using Federal resources for partisan political purposes? Illegal spying?
Trump’s Justice Dept. needs to go after Obama. Obama has likely broken numerous serious laws during his tenure, especially as relates to this past election.
I am damn tired of Democrats flagrantly violating our laws & getting a pass, while Republicans cannot even sneeze without being accused of lawlessness. Either Trump & Co. starts getting tough with these crooks, or he can look for another job in 2020. We were promised “Drain the Swamp”, so I expect to hear a giant sucking sound as Obama, Clinton, & all their cronies are called to account for their crimes.
A good first start would be a purge of ALL of Obama’s political appointees in government, NOW, not months or years from now, closely followed by a grand jury to investigate the Clintons & their foundation.
And if by some fluke of law, Obama, Clinton, & Co. cannot be held legally accountable for their nefarious activities, then I expect Trump to do those same things times 10 to reverse Obamunism & destroy the Democratic Party.

While it would be unprecedented, in the event of an emergency I’d venture that Sessions could un-recuse himself. Or appoint a special prosecutor, or be replaced by someone who can pursue this.
