Like HTML sandbox we need Alinsky training here at FR. To recognize it and to spin it back onto leftists.
Trump spins them well. We need to do the same.
Begin by reading:
Saul Alinskys Rules from Rules for Radicals
Saul Alinsky describes 24 rules in Rules for Radicals. Of those 24 rules, 13 are rules of power tactics:
1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy
thinks you have.
2. Never go outside the experience of your people.
3. Wherever possible go outside of the experience of the
enemy.
4. Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.
5. Ridicule is mans most potent weapon.
6. A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
8. Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and
actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.
9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing
itself.
10. The major premise for tactics is the development of
operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.
11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will
break through into its counterside.
12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive
alternative.
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
The remaining 11 rules Alinsky describes are concerned with the ethics of means and ends:
1. Ones concern with the ethics of means and ends varies inversely with ones personal interest in the issue Accompanying this rule is the parallel one that ones concern with the ethics of means and ends varies inversely with ones distance from the scene of conflict.
2. The judgment of the ethics of means is dependent upon the political position of those sitting in judgment.
3. In war the end justifies almost any means.
4. Judgment must be made in the context of the times in which the action occurred and not from any other chronological vantage point.
5. Concern with ethics increases with the number of means available and vice versa.
6. The less important the end to be desired, the more one can afford to engage in ethical evaluations of means.
7. Generally success or failure is a mighty determinant of ethics.
8. The morality of a means depends upon whether the means is being employed at a time of imminent defeat or imminent victory.
9. Any effective means is automatically judged by the opposition as being unethical.
10. You do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral garments.
11. Goals must be phrased in general terms like Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, Of the Common Welfare, Pursuit of Happiness, or Bread and Peace.
AGREED!!!
Entirely waaay too much over-reacting going on here—we need to understand the tactics of the progressives not fear them. Knowledge is power!!!
that’s all i watch now - ie Fox Business. But I turn FoxBusiness off when Cavuto comes on from noon until 2pm Another guy who is a guest on Fox Business is Gasparino. Use to really like him, but he has really gone into the sludge in the swamp. Don’t like that sludge.
I guess my take is very different. He looked and sounded like an old southern gentleman lawyer. Having known several old southern gentlemen lawyers, people miss how very dangerous they really are.
Nice and polite and inoffensive until they slit your throat. It remains to be seen I guess but if I had skeletons in my closet I wouldn’t turn my back on him or celebrate yet.
No, they are in panic mode, clawing at anything, and at their most dangerous. We need to calmly get on with the business at hand, and do so adhering to the highest standards.
This is only going to get worse. The Dems are emboldened.
...
Good grief. The Dems are in a panic and desperate.
Sessions will have their butts in a sling when he gets them in indictments. Likely when he gets his deputy through confirmations hearing. His hearing is next Monday. Cavuto is an idiot. And the Judge is answering it yet again.
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
Sessions is the U.S. Attorney General, and subject to rules of ethics that require him to be held to a different standard than your normal political appointee jack@ss in Washington.
He explained this clearly in his press conference.
I am not sure that the investigation is a “nothingburger”.
Obama and his minions had plenty of time to plot and plan and fabricate.
#269 LOL
Sessions needs to break the hold the pedophiles in Congress, the media, and academia have on this country, and soon.
Really like Sessions as AG, but that presser was WEAK..
Why it so hard for our side to say the simple basics, like..
- Members of Congress REGULARLY meet with Ambassadors of foreign govt’s
- I, like X # of other members of Congress (including the 25 or so Dem Senators that were announced today) in the fall of 2016 ALSO met with multiple ambassadors, including from the following (long list of countries) as well as Russia
- This is a normal, regular part of what we all do every day in Washington
- Ergo, there is NOTHING beyond doing what we all do everyday to talk about here.
- And, by the way, there never was ANY “Russian involvement” in the election, nor has anyone ever produced a SHRED of evidence that there was.
Why is this so freaking hard?
You know you can just bypass my post you don’t have to read chit!! I’m just stating the obvious our party is effed up! And I’m sick of it! If you don’t like my post just skip over it! Anyways, who the hell made you monitor?!
You have no idea what the hell you're talking about.
A reporter at today's press conference asked Sessions about it.
Sessions explained that most people -- including Trump and Spice, I would assume -- are not aware of the intricacies of legal ethics rules. And that's why he is recusing himself.
Sessions letter says he recuses himself from any issue regarding Pres Trump’s campaign. My sense is he would have had to do that anyway

Flynn was a nothingburger too. Still, he went under the bus. That’s why many act the way they do. They are completely convinced our side will cave from a light breeze aimed their way, and they’re freakin sick of it.
Are we getting too used to #winning? We can’t take anything less for one news cycle? Trouble is, it’s never one news cycle. They take what they can from the current news cycle to spin up the next day’s news cycle. It can turn into a cyclone. That’s what makes people nervous. Me included.
Um, if fabrications were capable of taking down President Trump, either during the election or now, then he wouldn't be the President.
The Left isn't going to accomplish its goals by spewing fabrications.
Therefore, the Left isn't going to accomplish its goals.
What's really pissing me off is the general lack of guts being shown by Republican members of Congress, both in the House and Senate.
They need to be pushing back against this crap hard...
