Flynn was a nothingburger too. Still, he went under the bus. That’s why many act the way they do. They are completely convinced our side will cave from a light breeze aimed their way, and they’re freakin sick of it.
For God's sake, Flynn misled the Vice President of the United States, however important Flynn's job position might have been,m it's not as important as VP.
President Trump showed loyalty to his Vice President, and admirably so.
It would have been a slap in the face to let Flynn get away with such deceit, even though there was no underlying crime.
So that situation is apples and oranges compared to this one...
My concern is the spineless Republicans like Issa and Chaffetz who are turning on Sessions. The rest of the Republicans in Congress haven’t exactly shown much of a propensity to fight back when Democrats attack, either. Democrats always circle the wagons no matter how awful the person they are defending, but Republicans seem all to ready to cave and toss their own to the sharks. It’s disgusting.
