At least six members of the Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots have said they will not visit the White House for the traditional meeting that championship teams have with the president.
Running back LeGarrette Blount, defensive end Chris Long and defensive tackle Alan Branch on Thursday became the latest to announce that they would skip the visit. Long posted on Twitter that he planned on skipping in response to a column in The Daily News that urged him to skip.

How arrogant. They won’t attend IF invited. Well you have not been invited yet. Did you think that Trump might be just a tad busy. Why do Sports teams think they are entitled to a visit. Not like they eked on the moon or something.

Brady has already said the reason he skipped the Obama invite was the team was only given 10 days notice. He had a family commitment. Think it was a sister’s wedding.
