Six New England Patriots Say They Will Skip a White House Visit

At least six members of the Super Bowl-winning New England Patriots have said they will not visit the White House for the traditional meeting that championship teams have with the president.
Running back LeGarrette Blount, defensive end Chris Long and defensive tackle Alan Branch on Thursday became the latest to announce that they would skip the visit. Long posted on Twitter that he “planned on skipping” in response to a column in The Daily News that urged him to skip.

No big deal, Brady declined an invite to the Obama Black House.......
With that being said, I am disappointed in Chris Long's refusal to go.....I always thought his old man Howie was a square deal kind of guy.

I wonder if there is any rule preventing Trump from having a lunch for the ones who do visit. A lunch including very rare and expensive wines and liquors that those players could tell the others what they missed out on.

Only Hightower is essential and he has only two seasons left in him.
McCourty has been great but he’s slowed. Try to trade him. Long was a fill-in, a dinosaur who had a surprisingly good final season.
Bennett got his spot by attrition. The Patriots need four new tight ends.
Branch got much better this season.
Blount is done. He got hurt six games out and was ineffective in his return. When battering-ram running backs start stutter-stepping before they hit defensive players, they’re done, ala Sam Cunningham and Earl Campbell, and many others.
