In the wake of a holiday season that was worse than the company expected, Target has decided to cut two of its most ambitious long-term projects before either even got off the ground, according to multiple sources.

That’s funny, but I just can’t stand being around so many “unsavory types”...
I’m not going to Ask.
If they haven’t made a public statement like Target, chance are they don’t have an insane policy. I NEVER have used a bathroom in a store.
If other companies had done it, we would have heard about it, believe me.
Unless you can list them.
I shopped Target on occasion in the past. I boycotted them when they started their crazy crap.
The occasion has never arrived but if in the future I and my grandaughter are in a place that allows transgendered to go into the ladies room, I am going with her and managment can kiss my ass and I am straight. I love my granddaughter and “woe be to he that tries to abuse her.”
That’s not gonna happen for me.
I boycotted Target but the fact is the Vast majority of major stores and companies lean left.
I’m going to keep using Amazon Prime and drinking Coke.
It works both ways. The lines in liberal Manhattan for Chick Fil A are blocks and blocks long.
Those are both terrible projects. Self showrooming is a moving backwards. And competing with Amazon Marketplace is just asking to lose. Axing them was the right move, letting them get past the proposal state was the wrong move.
Plus bunch of Chinese junk plus banned Salvation Army bell ringers. I haven’t been there in years.
Amusingly, there’s a Target in Grand Rapids (MI) right next door to a Cabela’s.
Boycotting Amazon actually helps them. They lose money on merchandise sales. Haven't made a profit there for 20 years. I order truly low cost/price items, one at a time, with free shipping. The more I buy, the more they lose.
Target used to be a good business but has been gradually going the way of Sears. With their history of losing customer sensitive financial data you’d think they’d want to accept Apple Pay (the gold standard of security for the customers’ payment/personal data) but they refuse. I stopped shopping at Target some time ago.
BINGO. Amazon is for browsing only for me. I want to fell and check out out stuff before I buy. Returning takes less time also. I want Mom and Pop’s stores!
Doesn’t matter if they admit it because, guess what? It happened!!!! Winning! Conservatives need to stop going to the movies and Starbucks, too.
Just this week I thought about stopping at Target to pick up a few things, but I didn’t because they suck.
During my career as a wage slave,I lived 75 miles from any large brick and mortar store. Amazon was great and they kept giving us free stuff. (My Amazon Prime is good until 2019.) Now in my new career as bumloafer/bad fisherman I have brick and mortars within 7 or 8 miles and don't use Amazon at all.
Point being: Amazon's profits depend on urban areas. Here instant gratification is your friend.

Actually, you don’t understand the Amazon business model.
Yes, but Target shoved it in our faces.
They lose money on every sale - They make it up in volume?
The latest ad on the inside cover of the February issue of Family Circle has put Ikea off my list.
(Cripes! The whole magazine was a barf alert. I just wanted to look at recipes before having my teeth cleaned.)
Didn’t mean to imply that IKEA was really any better on the political front, but they do have a knack for creating good-looking consumer goods for an attractive price.
Those percentages will differ based upon locale.
Corporations love gays because they tend to have more disposable income.
