In the wake of a holiday season that was worse than the company expected, Target has decided to cut two of its most ambitious long-term projects before either even got off the ground, according to multiple sources.

Why go into a Target store?
Agreed. Today, NO woman or girl can dare risk their personal safety shopping at Target.
Fortunately, there are good stores that are not Target!
Ask these "good stores" what their bathroom policies are in regards to transgender people.
You might be surprised.
Exactly why we won’t shop Target!!!
I always liked Target. since they appeared (to me, at least) to have better product selections than their competitors.
However, Target is now no longer a shopping destination.
They can now devote more time to having their employees clean up all those he/she/it/whatever/none of the above bathrooms.
Shove it, Target.
I dumped Target after they dumped the Salvation Army
In my area Target was for working shoppers while Wal-Mart was for welfarians and illegals. People shop at the former to avoid the clientele of the latter.
you may be right but I still wanna be able to shop SOMEWHERE!
ha!
seriously, we buy much of our needs online (and, yes, we have reduced our Amazon purchases as their CEO has shot HIS mouth off with extreme leftist political claptrap)
at least..online we can buy a lot of stuff from individual proprietors instead of huge “global” corporations....
which is nice (gives small folks a chance) and also its very convenient (the stuff comes to our home, we don’t have to chase all over town and wait on long lines in big stores)
The Salvation Army was it for me as well.
“I dumped Target after they dumped the Salvation Army.”
That’s a good reason to shop on Amazon.
Bezos is more left than Target
It’s a pity about Target, they weren’t all that much more expensive in my experience than Walmart, with better-looking merchandise. Very good eye for color and design, but affordable. Sort of IKEA-like, but a mass market department store. The stores themselves weren’t much, though, sort of dated. Newer Super Walmarts are better-looking retail environments.
What a stupid hill they’ve chosen to die on and dying they are, that’s all I’ve got to say.
Mine has been reduced to zero.
LOL! As if Amazon supports the Salvation Army.
And the last thing they will blame the decline on is the dudes in the womens bathroom.
GOOD FOR YOU!
congrats!
we have’nt quite gotten to zero yet with Amazon...
but we definitely are buying as much stuff elsewhere as possible now that Amazon’s CEO has gone commie-propagandist
we were buying a whole lot on Amazon (it IS a pretty good vendor, most of the time, to give the firm credit)... we were buying a lot there actually....but we’re definitely cutting it .... who needs to be insulted by a corporate hack who is SUPPOSED to be using his energy and time to increase shareholder wealth..and definitely NOT to advance his personal political predilitions at shareholder expense!
when we get a few really good shareholder lawsuits, these corporate Aholes will shut up about their politics... and get back to running the businesses they’re PAID to run
Haven’t shopped Target for many years. Many.
