Though Donald, 70, and his wife Melania announced in November that the first lady would relocate from New York City to Washington D.C. once their 10-year-old son Barron finished up the school year, a family insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly that may not happen. "They will reevaluate toward the end of the school year if they will keep this arrangement or if Melania and Barron will move to Washington," says the source.

What Conservative city ? Virtually every urban locale is left-wing. Even if you found one and made it the new national capital, it would become leftist in short order. Look how radicalized nearly every state capital has become since the 1980s.

Goodness, I personally would do everything in my power to not live in DC. The press is already slamming her and her son regularly, why live amongst them? She can fly in on weekends and major events as needed and President Trump and fly to NY on weekends, and if I am not mistaken, he very much enjoys sleeping in his own bed.
Many people have had to be temporarily separated due to commitments - work, military. It is not impossible to do, and does not imply a bad marriage.
Whatever she does is fine by me and I think nothing of it. It is all about what President Trump does for the country that is important.
Well, if Trump is going to jet back to NYC most of the time, then it might make more sense for her to stay in New York and just come to Washington when she needs to host formal functions and such.

That’s right; at one time Indianapolis was considered “conservative” because it could annex suburbs. Richard Lugar was even called “Nixon’s favorite mayor” at the time. San Diego and Dallas were once conservative too. Now, I understand even Tulsa is moving to the left.

Melania is supposed to join Donald at Mar A Lago this weekend. Glad he’s going to get away and maybe relax a bit.
DC/NY is less than an hour’s flight. She can stay in NYC where she’s comfortable vs. moving into the White House and being stuck in the middle of DC. They can be together in NYC or Palm Beach on a regular basis. Remember, our troops and their families are separated regularly for up to a year.
