Donald Trump's inaugural speech did not go off without a hitch -- there was a clear fumble by the military -- but everyone's clammed up.
Trump began speaking and a minute and a half later, 8 men in uniform walk the steps and flank the prez from behind.

I saw that and wondered what was going on.
I was waiting for the Obama Coup to begin.
We noticed it too, and then after a while, an officer came and took them off the stage. Odd.
Distribution of umbrellas to the dignitaries. And they weren’t as close to the President as it appeared (Extreme zoom shot).
The only explanation is that Obama gave them an order to arrest President Trump, but they could not once Obama was no longer president.
I thought they were giving out rain ponchos to the people in the stands behind Trump though I may be thinking of a different time during the inauguration.
I thought I saw a black female AF set a briefcase beside him as he began. Nuke football?
TMZ is a bunch of goobers. Those men were carrying umbrellas, and it was clear on the TV. I imagine they were there to offer protection from the rain for Melania, or any of the ‘dignitaries’ who were on the platform with President Trump.
I watched them leaving and thought it was a bit odd, but figured it may have been planned that way.

And NO, they didn’t look like they were busy handing anyone umbrellas. they just stood there. Looked like everyone already HAD ponchos and umbrellas ready for them — probably under their seats — which they got out as soon as the rain started.
I’m sad to say, I watched the entire inauguration from dawn till night and just couldn’t shake a feeling of concern for his safety. When the military came from behind, I thought they were going to protect him for a fleeting moment before realizing it was raining, and of course it would have been the Secret Service had danger been present.
That was very noticeable.
One radio talkshow host later said they were distributing plastic sacks as it has just started to rain.
