On Wednesday, Donald Trump signed two executive orders aimed at curbing immigration, one to kickstart the building of a border wall between the United States and Mexico, and one to strip federal funding from sanctuary cities that block deportation of undocumented immigrants.
One caveat of the executive order targeting sanctuary cities regards the Declined Detainer Outcome Report, which includes the administration’s publishing a weekly list that shames the jurisdictions that “catch and release” undocumented immigrants accused of crimes. The Declined Detainer Outcome Report also calls for the secretary of state to “make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens.”
As The Hill’s Will Sommer pointed out, the list hinges on the Trump administration’s accurately reporting crime statistics to begin with considering that POTUS is already willing to hang his hat on the notion that three to five million imaginary illegal immigrants voted in the election. And that’s not even considering the creepy Third Reich-style implications of publishing lists of undesirables.

Why is it that the Left has to describe everything done by a Republican administration as Nazi like?
I don’t recall reading anywhere about the Nazis publishing list of undesirables. As I recall if the Nazis found you undesirable you would typically be rousted out of your bed in the middle of the night and never be seen again.
Then that means they won’t be using any of the Federal ID systems, like the fingerprint database. And there is case law out there *requiring* any US government law enforcement agency to announce who they have arrested and jailed. Laws initially pushed by liberals, no less.
Because that is the worst thing in their world. Remember, the Communists and the Nazis absolutely hated and continue to hate each other.
But there are plenty of electronic devices to hold the data.

I had no idea he was trying to curb immigration, I thought he was going after illegal immigration this whole time. Silly me.
If they’re gonna publish lists besides those convicted they need to restrain themselves to those charged and also update with the results of any proceeding, including a finding of not guilty if applicable.
As a rule, every illegal alien should be either charged with identity theft (on account of social security numbers used etc) or tax evasion.

I’m a member of a small local discussion site. Several years ago one of the members started a perma-thread where he did exactly this - posted the names, addresses (just city and/or county), and charges for law-breaking immigrants.
The lefties really got a burr under their saddles over this one! They tried everything from whining to threats to mockery - all without any effect. The one thing they couldn’t do was ignore it. Like dogs returning to their vomit the libtards kelp coming back to protest.
I say good on the Donald - this ought to be fun!

Where will the list be posted and will it show names and addresses for the perps in case the locals want to follow up to ensure justice is served, you know, like they have been deported and so on.
