I’m not worried. :)
And?
If anything were to happen while we have no CIA head or SOS, Dems own it.
Barney just announced that Rubio will vote yes on Tillerson.
Every obstructionist should be hammered. Now that Obama doesn’t control the IRS, I’m calling McCain.
Great graphic.
I think I saw it on CNN this morning. NOT!
Damn auto correct. Varney just announced that Rubio will support Tillerson.
WAR...Time to take the left to the woodshed.
Let’s darn sure hope our enemies on the battlefield and in the financial markets take a break while the US hobbles along without a fully functioning cabinet in place because Chuck Schumer has no job now except obstructionism
I would like to see cameras banned from the hearings
Unprecedented?
Not really.
Look up the Borking of Judge Bork as an example.
Think about what they did to Clarence Thomas.
I’m LOVING the angry intolerant howling I’m hearing from the leftist freak “educators” I know regarding DeVos.
Me either. They first have to have some kind of presence that amounts to anywhere near a majority. Our task here is to make our Representatives and Senators to stay on target.
In the end the Democrats cannot win with what they have.
“”WAR...Time to take the left to the woodshed””
THIS is ALL McConnell’s fault-
The repugs have the senate AND the RULES!-
Obviously working with the DEMONS to make Trump look bad
the one that I don’t want Trump to cave on is SCOTUS. If they Bork his nominee then leave it open until the Dems have to cave.
OK so the Republicans control the Senate. The Republicans control the committees. The Republicans control the schedule for the committees. The Republicans decide when votes are held in the Senate. Why have they only voted on two nominees?
Ace, Marco, Mitch and the other coward “Republican” Senators.
We’ll see plenty of attempts to disrupt and/or obstruct Trump’s agenda and I expect that the media will report it as being effective, especially when it is not, which should be the vast majority of the time.
That graphic is misleading. Trump was inaugurated three days ago (on a Friday, at that), so it doesn’t make sense to post the number of appointees that have been confirmed in his first WEEK.
I’ve actually changed my opinion about the “borking” of Judge Bork over time. In the last few years I’ve heard stories that the Republicans in the U.S. Senate were perfectly content to let the Democrats sink his nomination. From what I’ve heard, there were many long-time Republicans who despised him for what he did when he served as Richard Nixon’s hatchet man in the infamous “Saturday Night Massacre” in 1973.
