Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) says the leak of an unverified dossier claiming Russia has compromising information about Donald Trump is unfair to the president-elect.
“The president-elect has a point,” McCain said Tuesday on "Fox & Friends."
"The fact that this un-validated document, to say the least, was leaked — it’s somebody’s responsibility," said McCain, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
“The very fact that it was leaked, one, is a commentary on this town," he said. "Second, [it is] totally wrong to have that out.”
“[It is] an un-validated document that is damning out there among the American public without any validation whatsoever. And so it’s harmful to the president of the United States.”
McCain also criticized Trump and outgoing CIA Director John Brennan for arguing about the controversial document’s public dissemination. . .

I dislike him as much as the next however I will say had he not done this and it had gotten into the wrong hands then it becomes blackmail bait. If anything he did what he is required to do and in effect saved him

My understanding is that the dossier was already out there and that Trump knew about it. If McCain got lucky and accidently did the “right” thing it was a fluke. His intentions were to harm Trump. McCain is a bitter America hating insane old man in my view. Deep down he can’t get over his treason in POW captivity and hates America for “leaving him to rot”, oh and he will ALWAYS do what he thinks is best for McCain.
Being a lot sarcastic here, but is he the only Vietnam POW who gained weight in captivity!

It’s possible, but my hatred for the Senator McCain comes from no judgment about the Military McCain. To me they are two vastly different people. If anything, his imprisonment may well be the reason he is insane now. But we won’t know.
Our only real course of action is to help his next opponent in the Arizona Primary.
He really just needs to shut up and go the hell away. He adds no value to our Republic.
He kniws this blew up in his face, so he’s doing his typical 190, because he has no shame.
In other words, “it never really got any traction, so let’s just forget I was instrumental in making it public.”
