Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost the presidential race against President-elect Donald Trump in November, and a Friday report from Politico asserts supermarket tabloids are to blame.
Media reporter Jack Shafer asserts that the sheer volume of anti-Clinton reporting from tabloids, Fox News and Breitbart was just too much for Democrats to fight effectively during the course of the campaign.
Shafer acknowledges that no one really reads tabloids like The National Enquirer and The Globe, citing the fact that Enquirer only has a weekly circulation of 342,071 issues, down significantly from the publication’s height of 5.9 million issues during the 1970s

Additionally, McCain and Romney were both chosen as Designated Losers who were intended to lose to the Kenyanesian Usurper to establish the precedent of changing the meaning of natural born citizen to simply being born here instead of one who is NATURALLY a US citizen because they could be no other, born here of citizen parents.
Obama’s foreign national father made him a British subject at birth, he is not a natural born citizen.
Undermining the protections of the natural born citizen clause to allow ineligible candidates to run loosens the grip of the natives on their country.
The founders were wise men, they put the natural born citizen clause in there to prevent what we just went through with Obama.
She lost because of the sleazy Clinton Foundation, she lost because she didn’t follow rules in handling government emails, she lost because not only did she lie, but she was responsible for the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, she lost because she didn’t have the stamina to campaign as shown in the multiple mental and physical collapses, she lost because her presidency would have been an extension of Obamas and last but not least she lost because she was running against a man who spoke to the people.
The one issue she was very clear about was abandoning the rule of law and giving the country away to fraudulently documented foreigners.
Exactly opposite of what the citizens wanted.

Btw you're better off not going to beauty parlors - lots of toxic stuff in those places (hair spray, hair dye, nail polish remover and other chemical fumes).
Your Hillary-voting manicurist may have had her brain pickled by inhaling all those fumes for so many years.
Liberals do believe the tabloid garbage. That’s why some of them still voted for Trump even though his father was an alien.
If she'd gone to Wisconsin it would have been more to energize the party faithful than to win over swing voters.
But she didn't think it was necessary.
And she'd have had to reorient her campaign to be able to do hold on to the voters she needed to keep to win.
Still, if people are saying you're sick and you're not, you have to prove to them that you're healthy, otherwise they'll assume you're sick.
You don't necessarily have to give long speeches, but you can't be taking day after day off from campaigning.
I don't think the scandal headlines in the tabloids had much impact.
People already knew Hillary was under investigation.
The idea that she might not last out her term wasn't something you heard much from the established media.
The more she campaigned, in person, the more she stumbled or fell down.

For years I have been looking for the perfect example of “grasping at straws.” Thank you Killary for ending the search.
Killary, IMHO, lost the election because her campaign way over estimated her popularity. Consider her rate of campaign events per day vs Donald Trump’s rate in the last month of the campaign.

I agree with you and isn’t it interesting that not ONE lib has brought up her shaky health condition which garnered tabloid and msm news for a couple of weeks.
The Deplorable comment, too, that we were able to make into a joke, was delivered with such unmistakable nastiness showing her true self.
If I am going to be honest the numerous “Crooked Hillary” covers sitting in all the checkout lines probably did help a bit. Nothing compared to the nightly character assassination Trump got an every nightly news broadcasts. No mention of the above the fold USA Today Deadbeat Don! headline and story that showed in almost every hotel room

She lost because she is not a likable or trustworthy person.
Bill Clinton’s meeting with Loretta Lynch, the head of the DOJ, was a reality nail in her political coffin.
Her support took a nose dive after that.
Good point. Trump had lots of negative coverage in the tabloids. My theory is that seeing her photo reminded people in line at the grocery just how crooked and corrupt she is. Nobody gets their politics from National Enquirer, at least most don’t.

They’re throwing everything at the wall, clinging to the desperate hope that surely something’s got to stick. In the meantime they just stink worse.

Their delusions about impeachment, implosion, meltdown symptomatic of their derangement. When are they going to stop underestimating Trump?
That's not fanciful. Look at the EU, which started out as a common market to lower trade barriers. The people can't get rid of that monster on the loose.
