Police have responded to a shooting inside Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport Friday afternoon.
Details have not been confirmed by police, but early reports indicate as many as seven people were shot. Former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, who was traveling from the airport, tweeted out following the incident:
Santiago is close to 6’0 and military, likely Marine... keep looking, look for Texans.
CBS is reporting that the Santiago on the ID was born in NJ...
Supposedly the DOB is 3/16 or 3/26/1990
.... They have him in custody .... They probably tried to quel rumors that it wasn't a terror attack by releasing his name .... Well .... Before all Heck broke loose.
“Im surprised it wasnt released as Steven St. James.”
Well aren’t you the clever one? :-)
.
I had to switch to CNN.
Yeah, I heard the Florida guv is heading to airport. ..how stupid
I have been watching a series of true crime stories about the FBI.
One thing which struck me was that the Puerto Rican terrorists came across as truly hard core terrorists.
Only a few short years ago the Irish were killing dozens in the UK. So I’m not sure what your point is.
NBC 6 News:
Santiago in custody is 26 years old and is from New Jersey.

Heavy SWAT going into parking garage.
“So Im not sure what your point is.”
No point——a feeble attempt at a joke.
I could have mentioned The Swedes,I guess.
Maybe this IS a Cuban outfit....
That was what I thought too. He looks North African to me, probably stolen ID. Unless he’s a convert who was unfortunate enough to have a name hated by the Muslims, Santiago. St James is known as Santiago Matamoros, Santiago the Moor-killer.
Wow, there hasn’t been a “Puerto Rican” terrorist attack since the 70s or 80s when all 20 of them were arrested and put away...
If that suspect was born in 1990, Hispanic, and 6 foot, I’ll eat my damn hat.
;)
Yes, Trump caused all this.
After all, conservative words are worse than liberal violence!
Back years and years ago, there use to be Puerto Rican independence fighter types.
I think they report he has a military ID too.
