Police say a prospective home buyer made a gruesome discovery Thursday afternoon when a mummified and badly decomposed body was found inside a car in the home.
The home in the 19900 block of Spencer on Detroit's east side was up for sale. The prospective home buyer was walking through the home when they discovered a dust-covered car in the garage.

when a mummified and badly decomposed body was found inside a car Actually this is a contradictory statement.
Mummification would suggest that the body was NOT decomposing but rather desiccated and not decomposed.
Once again we see the poor quality of the education standards of media reporters today.

A dust covered car was “discovered” in the garage. Must have quite dusty indeed.

Not long ago, they found a dead woman in a car at her home in Detroit. Her neighbors reported not seeing her for several years, but hadn’t said anything. So, finding bodies of the long dead in Detroit isn’t all that uncommon.

IIRC, the woman from a couple years ago was also in her car in her garage in Detroit. Weird.

I heard he makes a fortune on the rights to those cartoons, and he stopped drawing them 21 years ago. Now he devotes all his time to jazz guitar.
