After more than a year of delays, Texas is officially kicking Planned Parenthood out of the state’s Medicaid program.
In a move that could affect thousands of low-income women, state health officials on Tuesday delivered a final legal notice to defund the organization from the Medicaid program through which it provides family planning and women’s health services to the poor. Planned Parenthood had previously received $3.1 million in Medicaid funding, but those dollars will be nixed in 30 days, according to the notice which was obtained by The Texas Tribune.
That cut-off day will only be delayed if the organization appeals the state's decision in the next 15 days by requesting an administrative hearing with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. But Planned Parenthood officials say they will instead turn to the courts to block the cuts.

A court room is a wonderful place to make all the PP lawbreaking allegations public in a very high profile manner

Oh, I always opt for LIFE. But, has anyone crunched the numbers? Just what DO all of these extra, unproductive kids cost We The People, since Mother Government is ready, willing and able (on our dime) to pick up their expenses?
Is it cheaper in the long run to fund abortions through PP, or to take care of these offspring from birth to death (as Mother Government seems to prefer) up to and including their prison time? Who BENEFITS from that other than states with HUGE Federally funded Prisons?

Would tax dollars be better spent on advocating for adoption (I NEVER see that, anywhere!), or permanent sterilization if you’re generationally stuck in the welfare cycle? (Another preference of mine, actually.)
I don’t know. Who does? Do you? I mean, the easy way is to advocate for life, but that ‘life’ costs a lot of dollars when that ‘life’ has no nuclear family, community or church to support it. Add to that, the lack of SHAME that goes with any of this. Having a pack of kids with different ‘fathers’ isn’t anything that’s looked down upon.

Again, I don’t have any definitive answers. We have this conversation at home All. The. Time. Our town can hardly deal with the unwanted PETS dropped off at the Humane Society (which we both volunteer and donate to).
Puppy and Kitty Lives Matter! Babies? Seems that Society, as a whole, declines to tackle THAT one.

You are correct that the left has messed things up six ways from Sunday, and those issues should be addressed.
However, that right not to be killed that we all possess is simply not negotiable.

And since Planned Parenthood is known to help people cross state lines to obtain their services that are being funded and supported fraudulently, they’re very possibly running afoul of human trafficking laws, too. Somebody needs to take a look at that.
What a lot of them do is work a job that pays cash under-the-table. The welfare pays their living expenses and the job is party money.

Children can be adopted. That way we are not on the hook for them: they can grow into useful members of society.
We don’t have to regard wholesale murder as the only alternative.
