Several Democratic members of the New York congressional delegation think President-elect Donald Trump should pay for his own security costs if his family chooses to maintain two residences while he's in the White House.
In a letter Monday to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, six Democrats representing various New York City boroughs said Trump should pick up the tab for the security costs of living in Washington and Manhattan.
Also Monday, de Blasio said he’s asking the Obama administration to reimburse New York $35 million for Trump’s security costs through Inauguration Day on Jan. 20. He specifically requested House and Senate leaders to include the funds in an upcoming government spending bill expected to be considered in Congress this week.

Note to some NYS pols, and they know who they are: Oh, by all means, let’s discuss personal security spending. But not just for Trump.
Trump needs to deport every last illegal from the Big Crabapple.
Guess they are lamely looking for cost offsets for when Trump cuts off NY Federal funding due to their sanctuary city status.
When His Arrogance reimburses the US Treasury for the travel and overtime expenses for all his campaigning for Benghazi Clinton which had nothing to do with his job as President.
This would be a good opportunity for NYC to reconsider its position on being a sanctuary city.

Obama did not pick up the tab for security or hotels for Michelle and Mom and their entourage during all of those lengthy vacations.
Exactly.
Can someone post the totals spend for the OVOMIT’s 8 years luxurious vacations on the taxpayers dime...including her relatives who sponged off us by tagging along on those trips.
So will they charge Obama for the millions that his golf trips cost the taxpayers? Or the millions that he used to fly around the country rallying for Clinton?
And Obama should pay for hus own vacations.
