Carrier Corp. has agreed to keep in Indiana roughly half of the 2,100 jobs it had planned to shift to Mexico, after a lobbying effort from the incoming Trump administration.

Watching all the talking heads is hilarious and sad. They’re all a bunch of eeyore’s telling everyone why things can’t be done (i.e. getting rid of Obamacare and replacing it with something that works. Infrastructure etc.). Can you imagine Kennedy saying we should go to the moon by the end of the decade in this environment? What happened to that can do spirit in America? I have high hopes that President Trump will be able to get people dreaming big again.
Under budget and ahead of schedule. Trump delivering on promises....
As far as space, I would be surprised if Trump had a moon colony and people on Mars by the time he’s finished.
Imagine how hard the teams worked over Thanksgiving holiday to hammer out the details. While the rest of us were watching football on TeeVee, Trump & Pence were hard ball negotiating.

companies aren’t closing down factories here and building new factories in Mexico in order to save a few bucks. There are enormous financial incentives going on.
It’s a win.
No other politician even cared, never mind putting effort into saving those jobs.
And he hasn’t even been inaugurated yet.
Mark my words: The engineering, management, and administrative jobs will stay, but the manufacturing, assembly, and logistics jobs will go to Mexico. IOW, white collar jobs stay, blue collar jobs go.
Not a win for PEOTUS or the USA.

That is good news for the Carier employees. It is hoped that DJT can rejuvenate the oil industry in the country so that the many unemployed engineers in Houston can pick up their lives again.

Sounds like an RCA television antenna I saw in Walmart last year. Made in China but the box had huge print that read, ENGINEERED IN THE USA.
