Mark my words: The engineering, management, and administrative jobs will stay, but the manufacturing, assembly, and logistics jobs will go to Mexico. IOW, white collar jobs stay, blue collar jobs go.
Not a win for PEOTUS or the USA.
any job that may have gone abroad but gets saved for a USofA citizen is a win!
maybe you need new a new view?
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho! God Bless Texas!

Sounds like an RCA television antenna I saw in Walmart last year. Made in China but the box had huge print that read, ENGINEERED IN THE USA.
Hey Nick, FU. noobie!
see post 12.
You don’t know what you’re talking about.
“Not a win for PEOTUS or the USA.”
One of those ‘glass is half empty’ types, are you? Obama wouldn’t have even bothered. Seems like a win to me. Trump’s not even in office yet and he’s getting things done. Cheer up!
Sounds just like Apple Computer
Let’s hope that this is a negotiation in progress and not the final agreement
That’s growing an upscale economy. One of the benefits of globalization. However it’s flawed as we transfer technology that will be used to compete with us eventually.
It just makes it so that every generation it gets harder and harder to compete.
Big WIN 1,000 US families > zerObamma Carrier families
PS: trump/pense don’t take office till Jan 2017.
PPS: how many rounds of golf did obammy get in over the weekend?
PPPS: where did moochele take her mom & kids for thanksgiving weekend vacation?
Bonus: what kinda carbon footprint did her vacation leave?
Half of the jobs slated to be moved were white collar? I’d be surprised.
Not a win?? 1000 families probably disagree with you, newbie.
I’m reserving judgement until we see exactly what the announced but unspecified economic incentives from Indiana for Carrier will cost - these sorts of arrangements have a nasty habit of turning into a situation where state or local government “buys” job security at a very high cost per job in the form of tax breaks or the like, and then the employer never creates the promised jobs, or “discovers” a few years later that the plant has to be closed anyway.
Foe example, here in Illinois:

And Carrier has a history with this, a few years back, they received a five milion dollar Advanced Manufacturing Tax Credit grant specifically targeted to keep jobs in the US:
