Many years ago there was a baseball player on a team that hadn’t done well. Nevertheless, the player tried to negotiate a raise. The manager told him: “Look, we finished in last place this year while you were playing. We can finish in last place again next year without you.”
If the 49ers have lost 10 in a row, they have no reason to keep Kaepernick. It can only help the team if they get rid of this mook.
