So your candidate lost. You have a right to be upset, frustrated and angry, but you also have an obligation to be respectful to others and to the will of the American people. Intellectual hypocrisy continues every day on campuses, where opinions that are not the norm are vilified or silenced.
Imagine if you treated people of different races as you treat people with different opinions. There would be a tremendous outcry! But somehow it is fine to discriminate against those with different views.
Did it ever occur to you that this may be why people voted for Trump? That it might not have been the racist proclivities of the U.S. or the dangerous nationalism of the people, but that it was people who tell them not to think or speak the way they do.
Trump won, and he did not overthrow the government or kill people to silence them. He won in the standard fashion by getting 270 votes in the Electoral College. As I said, you have a right to be upset, but what we have on our hands now is an embarrassment.

Smart guy
This is a profile of the student (in the picture he’s running a race pushing his friend who has cerebral palsy):

Nice story.
I hope he doesn’t pay too high of a price for his voice right now.
Thanks for posting.
Don't be silent, even when it will do you no good.
Your illegal alien classmates are on their own where the law is concerned.
don’t know if he’s an embarrassed lib or an annoyed conservative, but he writes like an American
Actually, I'm okay with people discriminating. Every person makes choices (discriminates: Definition 1. recognize a distinction; differentiate.) between what to eat, what to wear, what to say, etc. The word discrimination has been so abused for so many years.
I also have a problem with the word "judge", as in don't judge me. EVERYONE judges every day of their life. Dumbass on the highway? ... that is a mental judgement. Some guy wearing pants down to his knees and thinking he's a dumbass...a mental judgement. Trump is going to kill America?...that is a judgement. Need I give the definition?
We all judge. It's a logical conclusion we come to after looking at the facts as we know them at the moment. We discriminate according to our values, mores, and desires. Are the meaning of these words no longer taught? Rhetorical question.
Finally, a snowflake in whom there is no guile!
Liberals are all for diversity as long as you think exactly as they do.
This is a well-spoken and sharp young man. I hope he doesn’t get thrown out for taking a contrary stand.
I say we erect a wailing wall in the name of these delicate snowflakes- A Wall where they can go and bawl all day long if they wish- A Wall where they can hug and console each other till the cows come home- infact, And I propose that we erect the wailing wall along the south boarder-
>> You have a right to be upset, frustrated and angry
They’re deranged punks unfit for the life and society the Founding Fathers created.
Why are they called snowflakes?
One could say because the are so delicate and fragile, but I tend to disagree with the term. Snowflakes, no two are alike, they are diverse and original. These people are more like lemmings, the epitome of group think, echoing in parrot-like fashion only what they hear.
He sounds sane - must be failing everything except the technical courses.....
