Trump was up 4 points in their last poll, now up 7. Romney won Georgia by 8 and NC by 2. IMO, NC very similar to Georgia. My guess is Trump up by a couple of points in NC. Souls to Polls yesterday in NC/GA negligible in terms of increasing AA share of vote.

Whoever thought GA was in play needs to be smacked silly upside down their head.

And that I believe....will go pretty much as the gubernatorial election went.....we all remember that one where the AJC had Jason Carter winning by 5

Trump was never going to lose Georgia. It will be +10 Trump victory, count on it (same with Texas, Utah, Arizona, Alaska and any other Red States Hillary thinks she has a shot in.)

Serious momentum for Team Trump. Just wait until all of the FBI probe is factored in. Big League!

Of interest in the poll is Hillary is at 42% - her ceiling. That tracks with everything we’ve been seeing since the spring.

Georgia is always in play, to some degree.
I believe only North Carolina had a narrower margin of victory for Romney in 2012, and Georgia was actually a Clinton state in the 1992 election.

Right. I think he won 53%-45%, with 2% for other candidates.

AJC hardest hitNot just the AJC, but its radio sister WSB750. One would think that Atlanta's radio home of Herman Cain, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity (and erick erickson) would have at least fair-minded news reporting. But WSB's news is as pro-Hillary as it can get. For months WSB's lead story has been that day's most heavily-skewed pro-Hillary outlier -- even this morning it reported that Hillary is +9 nationwide. Absolute, stark raving lunacy reigns over the WSB newsroom.

Whoever thought GA was in play needs to be smacked silly upside down their head.
When I was a kid, there used to be "imaginary" superhero comic book stories along the lines of how it might have been like if Clark Kent married Lois Lane, or if Lex Luther was a good guy.
Here in Georgia, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution regularly likes to run their own "imaginary" stories, and Clinton leading polls were a regular staple.

Pat Caddell was saying last night that this could be like 1980, an election that started out close and suddenly turned into a landslide.
Caddell definitely knows the signs.

The breakdown makes me think Trump has taken a significant chunk of the Black vote there.

Agreed, I get Herman Cain here on WSB750 and it is shocking how far opposite the news room is with Herman & Rush.
