ABC / CBS / NBC need to go. Turns out the NFL is key to their profits.
Check out this story:
The key worry here is the idea that the networks are dependent on the NFL and its huge ratings. If the NFL suddenly collapses or just regresses, those huge revenue streams that are driving the networks will start to slow.

Along with displaying the absolute lack of respect shown to our nation and flag by players not standing for our national anthem, turns out key to putting these PRAVDA media centers out of business is just one click away!
Conservatives are 20-30% of the country. They likely are over half of the football viewers. A good percentage of us doing something else with our Sunday time could ax the revenue streams propping up these evil companies, which have weaponized all content against traditional American values.
We also need laws that mega-companies can't own newspapers in major markets.
Bezos purchased WASHINGTON POST and operates at a loss, but it gives Amazon political power. It's 24/7 non-stop anti-Trump right now. Presumably Amazon, Facebook, and Google have cut deals with Hillary to continue to pay no taxes in the United States in exchange for helping her get elected.
Any other thoughts on what we can do to destroy the existing media powers in this country?
Trump's streaming 'network news' is a nice start. With internet access on most TVs, we can compete with a direct to net network with comparatively little start up cost and regulation.
Thank you for your response.
That’s an interesting point.
Thanks...
Thanks for your thoughts on this. I like Dallas too.
How many Super Bowls... LOL
I know you guys are making some good points. I don’t think you quickly develop the same level of play under a new league.
There’s a real difference between minor league and pro baseball. Would the new football league survive?
Would it draw enough fans? Would folks buy back in?
For a while there may be stadiums with 25% of the number of people they drew under the NFL.
Replacing boxing...
Good.
Thanks for your response.
That’s a good argument.
That is also a good solid point.
LOL
I don’t go quite that far back, but I do remember the barber shop where essentially the same things were taking place.
Those are good points too...
I like attending high school games.
Football is an icon. The NFL part, eh... The level of play is at it’s zenith there. When I say icon, I mean that the standout sports we have are Baseball, Football, and Basketball.
While I appreciate your point, and can see some validity to it, there is nothing evil about recognizing that the three main sports in the U. S. are baseball, football, and basketball.
Those are iconic. Again, there’s nothing evil about that.
In other nations there are other sports, soccer being one, where it or another is considered to be their iconic sport. While I personally can’t stand soccer, there’s nothing immoral about their iconic sport being soccer.
If I were paying a man millions of dollars to work for me, and he pulled the Kaepernik routine while on the clock, he would no longer be on my clock.
The first step is to boycott all the pre-game/post-game shows which is a more likely scenario to start with.
I hate PC very much, so you’ll get my support on that.
Here’s my concern. Sometimes we think we know what we’re doing, but things turn out far different than we expected.
Check this out.

It is not usually more expensive for me. It is usually the opposite. I guess I could shop at Target. Oh, wait, we're boycotting them. There's Gay C Penney - boycotting them too. I guess I just won't buy anything. / sarc
To me, this is soccer:
And this is nothing more than an entertainment extravaganza:
If I was a soccer fan, I'd give up the second one and spend more time on the first.
Cut the cord.
Totally.
Just do it.
And your boycott options include the parent companies, Disney and Comcast.
I have been boycotting the mouse since the H1B Visa issue—no Disney trips or toys!
When your TV box no longer sends a signal back that you are watching the NFL games, the NBA games, then their advertising revenue drops and the players no longer make $119,000,000. And when they no longer can negotiate big-money contacts, then the spoilt brats in the NFL & the NBA will start appreciating their life in America.
Anyone know the true story about this???
