Without Congress, it would take 2/3rds of the states to ratify...That is possible....

Yes, it is possible, but it has never actually been done before. That alone makes it a long shot.

Rather than term limits I’d rather see the 17th Amendment repealed. The House was meant to be the people’s representative, the Senate was meant to be the states.’

Bingo! It wouldn't be the end of all our problems, but that would be a great start. As it is now, the House represents fly-over country and the Senate represents the inner cities.

Beside term limits, I’m wondering why these congress critters can’t live and stay in their districts, and conduct their business over telephones and the internet. The swamp will never be drained as long as they are allowed to go to DC and party and conspire. It’s the 21st century for crying out loud.

A Congress that meets via tele-presence is only going to invite more fraud.

Thus the antipathy of inside-the-beltway democans and republicrats.

Theyy’re determined to cling to power, salaries, perks, and privileges even if the whole country goes pfffft as a result.
